Arenaria serpyllifolia, growing along the banks of the Wisconsin River Southwest of Sauk City, Sauk County, Wisconsin, 23 June 2017. A new plant species for my family's land; plant native to Europe.

Starting to play around with studio macro work. I'm using a simple set-up to take accurate focus stacked images. This is my first attempt. It's a Thyme flower, the flower itself is only a matter of millimeters across. See the comments for a photo of me holding the flowering stem.

This is the thyme that I planted in a yogurt container. I have to say that thyme grows a lot slower than basil.

Yes, Nutmeg decided to roll in the thyme when we went walking in the garden. She smelled great at least I do not think there was anything dead in there that she really wanted to roll in.....hmmmmmm
