We saw these hogs from about 550 yards entering a freshly planted peanut field about 11 PM. We drove the truck closer shaving about 375 yards off of the stalk. we went the rest of the way on foot and stopped at about 50 yards. They had NO idea we were there. It was a VERY full moon but the gentleman I had with me was very quiet and made an excellent stalk ( the fact he was 330lbs and 6'5'' made it even better ).

We set up and fired at the same time. He took the hog furthest to the right and I shot the hogs on the left. As luck would have it I saw an opportunity to get a 'two-fer'. Two hogs with one shot. Watch the hogs on the left, the bullet hits the hog in front and the hog behind him. After the whole thing was over it was apparent that that one shot would have killed both hogs with no other rounds needed, they just would have made it into the woods. As it was 2 of the three made it in before dying. We got one that night and the third the day after. The hog that is being shot by me was hit 5 times, with the first shot being a heart hit. The last shot lunged him. These are TOUGH animals that sometimes... have no clue they are dead. I've had them run 75 yards with NO heart or lungs.

FINALLY ... I managed to find this photo in my archives (Christmas 2004). It has 3 generations in it and I definitely took the photo - yay!

Of course, you may wish to view it a bit bigger ... I was experimenting with panoramic stitching at the time...

Thanks Daniel for leaving your lights set up. I got this nice shot.

UFOs? Actually it's three table tops at the bar of the Mix Lounge at the top of THEhotel in Las Vegas. This was the ambient lighting (long exposure) -- no flash.

This is my outline of how you can see the three castles.

This was by way of an experiment to see whether I could cut out furry things...not sure about the result.

Here is Hetty, who was13 at the time, with two of her three underlings, Fritz and Buster.

I would like you to believe that Ralphie took the photo, but....

For three days I have been expecting the quail eggs to hatch. Today they finally did it. I went out the back door to check on the nest, and the mama quail was gone and 12 of the 13 eggs were empty. I heard and then saw the parents on the low wall at the north side of the patio. Peering below them in the mottled shade of a rosemary bush I spotted some teeny chicks. After returning to the house for a camera I came out again and tried to get some shots of the chicks. I didn't want to stay long because the parents were nervously trying to gather all the chicks together and take off to their hiding place.

Detail shot of the roof outline of the sydney opera house. It was an amazing piece of architecture in the middle of an amazing city.

這張有一點Under的半格到一格,沒想到效果卻不錯,三朵蓮花的亮度各有層次,從花苞、半開、盛開三個階段,也可以看到RVP100艷麗的程度。

Shoot in New Taipei City / Taiwan. About at AM10:00. I think Rolleiflex SL66 is really a great 120 SLR. Lens take very sharp & saturation photo, but stiil keep detail. Especially the three primary colors blue, green, and red. Japaness lens is different, like Pentax 67 lens usually pan purple. Even though they are famous lens.

I'm working with the theme "Three" for next month's critique at my photographic society. I found this photo from April 2014 I took in Sandestin, FL. I have cropped out a fourth bird, and I tilted the shot so it looks like a progression of flight from one bird, but they are three. I'm playing really, but my idea is to do something unique. There is so much negative space, but I like the idea that I'm messing with the "rule of thirds" and the dreaded "don't put your subject in the center" rule that I love to break. Anywho, it's just a conceptual piece. I'm not sure I could pull out more detail and I have looked at it in color, but my guess is that the canvas is too big for the subjects. :) Feel free to weigh in or "walk on by"

Physalis can be found in many colourful variations! The most typical ones - red, yellowish and green - I found them in my garden, all hanging from one single stalk.

That's what rings in autumn...
