The Three Rondavels are a set of three distinctive, round-topped rock formations in Mpumalanga, South Africa, resembling traditional African huts (rondavels). They are a major feature of the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, offering spectacular views of the canyon and surrounding landscape.

I origianlly went looking for 2 people arguing but realised that wasn't what this was about!
A formation of three painted storks and one great egret fly by the photographer.
Wikipedia: The painted stork (Mycteria leucocephala) is a large wader in the stork family. It is found in the wetlands of the plains of tropical Asia south of the Himalayas in the Indian Subcontinent and extending into Southeast Asia. Conservation status: Near threatened.
The great egret (Ardea alba), also known as the common egret, large egret, or (in the Old World) great white egret or great white heron is a large, widely distributed egret. The four subspecies are found in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and southern Europe. Conservation status: Least concern.
Spotted on my walk this week as I approached Hollandridge Farm.

Three IC SD70s sit side by side at Joliet Yard. The 1015 would go out on L520, the 1032 would leave on L509, and 1001 would go out on L529 to Smurfitt.

being horticulturally challenged, i am not sure if this is a violet or a pansy. there appear to be 400-500 kinds of violets-- who knew!!

I'm always amazed by the grace and beauty of these huge birds in flight. Smooth and unhurried, they soar through the air like giants in the sky!
