. In 1919, the company built and marketed a "Three-Point Truck;" an "enormous affair, the four wheels alone weighing nearly one ton. The machine had a 15-foot (4.6 m) wheelbase, and an overall length of 19 feet (5.8 m). It weighed about 8,100 pounds and had a carrying capacity of from three to six tons..." It was not a success.

a simple and straightforward ascent of Meall a' Ghiuthais from Kinlochewe. Other than the fact that it's uphill all the way to the top, a simple and straightforward route, mostly on a good path.Only a 10 mile round trip so plenty of time to stop and admire the views and the flora and fauna.
While shooting a Senior Thesis film in the hills of Ashville North Carolina, we encountered some surprisingly annoying onlookers. I was amazed at how curious these animals were with our presence in their field. They skiddishly sniffed all of our gear and were determined to make it into the shot.

The three bridges. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. This amazing piece if engineering combines a road bridge (where the photo has been taken from) over a canal, which is going over the railway... In Hanwell, near Ealing.
The Hanwell flight of six locks raises the Grand Union Canal by just over 53 feet (16.2 m) and has been designated a Scheduled Ancient Monument by English Heritage.[13] At the top of the flight of locks towards Norwood Green is the Three Bridges designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It is still often referred to locally as simply Windmill Bridge and is very close to the spot where the eponymous windmill once stood; attracting the attention of a local Brentford artist named Joseph Mallard William Turner. These are actually within the boundary of Southall but are named after the local village of Hanwell, which is much closer than either of the villages of Norwood or Southall.
Three Antirrhinum flowers left on the stem. Not sure if the tip had been bitten off but I quite liked the way the flowers were looking in different directions and open at the same time.
This set of three late medieval merchant houses at the corner of Pikk and Tolli streets are commonly referred to as "Three Sisters." They all were built in a Gothic style and date to the first half of the 15th century.

Big surprise when we arrived at our local pub to find three hot air balloons preparing to take off. It was a lovely site.
Also known as Three-cornered Leek, this spring-flowering bulb carries 2cm long bell-like white flowers (10-18mm) on stems which are three-sided and about 30cm high. Along the centre of each petal is a narrow green line and between 3 and 15 flowers are arranged in a drooping one-sided umbel not unlike that of a Bluebell. The leaves are very markedly angled, coming three to a plant from the base. From April to June these flowers can be seen growing along roadsides, in hedges, banks and other shady places.
