Three Sisters 2 is a triptych made of a macro photograph of a leaf photographed on a light box. The image was inverted. It looked better in triplicate!
I spotted these three corn cribs a few days ago. You don't see much corn stored around here like this. If you notice on the ground around the base for the cribs you can see the left over cobs that the cattle have stripped the corn off of.

This alligator seems to sun itself on the same log most days.It is one of the most photographed animals at the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge got it's name from the shape of the river, not due to the fact that there are alligators in the waters. This gator probably lost it's limb from either another gator or a snapping turtle. It seems to have adapted pretty well to having 3 limbs.

Painted Turtles - 1223
This was a treat to watch. When I came across these turtles, there were two, sharing what might be described as bigger than a branch, but smaller than a log. Let’s call it a small log....
A third turtle decided to join them, but in the process the other two got deposited into the water as the small log rolled. As the other two climbed back on, all three ended up in the drink. This process continued with various permutations for about 20 minutes until all three ended up on the small log............... for a brief time until one of them moved.........

The River Dane and the packhorse bridge at Three Shires Head, the meeting point of the counties of Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire. At one time a site for illegal bare-knuckle fighting. If the authorities were to appear, the participants could hop over the river into one of the other counties to escape being arrested.
