This is one of the photos I took for the theme 'Fill the frame' of the 'This may not be Old San Juan but ...' group. I originally chose another photo for the theme as the my sheep don't fill the frame completely but now I have decided to post this one too. The sheep are too cute to be ignored. :)

Three Grackles: I decided to spend a good amount of time today shooting Boat-tailed Grackles. They are oft admired but generally don't get the attention that their showier wetland neighbors get. I decided to pick my three favorites of the day and make a triple frame.

Three bees and a water lily.
These bees were so engrossed in gathering pollen from this water lily that they were not disturbed or frightened by my close proximity.
They were extremely industrious as they worked their magic by removing the greatly sought after pollen and in doing so they provided me with a great opportunity to capture as they toiled.

Spent the last week touring around Pembrokeshire in a VW camper. Mid week we detoured to the Gower and stayed at Three Cliffs campsite. To say that the views of the coast are stunning would be an understatement. I couldn’t quite believe that I was the only person above the cliffs at sunset! What a place!

These three trees seem to have a certain beauty to them, even though they were badly burned about a decade ago when a fire swept through this field/canyon
