I hate those seats. I hate hate, hate them. Damn you, Daley, Emanuel, Claypool and anybody else who had a hand in deciding on those seats.

Part of Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains

An exhibition at the V&A (May to October 2017)

...a spectacular and unparalleled audio-visual journey through Pink Floyd's unique and extraordinary worlds, chronicling the music, design and staging of the band, from their debut in the 1960s through to the present day

Those are Fred Boutin to either side, with a couple Hidcote planted between them. There are 4 FBs in all and 6 Hidcote in all. I think the combination will make a nice looking hedge; varied but not TOO varied.

Oh, and yeah: we never got around to getting our house numbers put up (they're leaning against the bottom of the stairs). It will happen when it happens....

turning ordinary gestures into extraordinary moments

Those who follow my work and my journey knows how much I had invested last year in redefining my approach, on my growth as an artist. It was time for me to stop and dive deeply inside myself and evaluate my images. It was time to step forward. Any serious artist knows that from time to time, we need to grow and we can only do that by putting everything on hold and diving inside yourself. It is a painful process and if you reach it, then you achieve a real growth. I had spent many many months last year going through this. Asking myself how I could improve my art, where do I want to take it. All the answers came gradually and the designed sessions gradually took shape. I had applied all this growth in the sessions before I returned to Aberdeen as well as to all the wonderful families who I saw during March and April 2012 in Aberdeen. It was clear to me that I had achieved something special, that my work became even closer to my heart. The sessions are now different and I am able to achieve the goal that I set many months ago; which was to produce images that are ME, honest, real, simple. My job is simply to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary moments in time. To turn ordinary gestures into something that are timeless, that we can hold forever.

The imageabove is a true example of this growth. it brings tears to my eyes, as such a simple gesture can endure something so powerful as a true bond between those brothers.

I am grateful for the tears that came during this growth. I am grateful for the time I had spent diving into myself to bring out something that is closer to me.

Thank you C and J to share this with me. I am forever grateful!

Just fooling around while I was cooking dinner one night. Single use of a SB400 bounced off of a wall directly underneath my countertop and a white poster board behind it to create a seamless effect.
