Thinks like this don't make me feel good about our city's emergency preparedness. This was in the middle of the afternoon.
Since Google Calendar allows you to create multiple calendars, some information is best kept in separate calendars so that you can turn their display on and off at will. When both calendars are set to display (checked), the information in each is layered into one display.
Think hand-knit mittens are the warmest in the world? THINK AGAIN! Thrummed mittens are hand-knit with yarn and scraps of roving, or thrums, to create the most unbelievably well-insulated mittens you’ve ever tried! A MUST for the Northeast!

Whenever someone thinks about getting a pet, strays are not the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind. The strays are forgotten, trying to find a safe place to stay and food to eat. Just trying to stay alive in the harsh conditions they face every day. Looking for a place that they know they are safe and can thrive. This cat is a stray, and she has found her “safe haven”. But in the beginning, she, as well as an older cat, were all scrawny and scratched up. Their story starts on July 5, 2018. She was trying to find a safe place away from the fireworks and stumbled across my house. When we found her she wasn’t too sure about us. Questioned our every movement. But, what can you expect when they don’t trust you at first site? It took a couple of hours, with food, to gain a little bit of their trust. But it was all worth it because over time she became very loving and friendly. She has created a relationship with many and has showed affection by every neighbor who passes by the house. She also brings joy to everyone who passes by her.
Strays are not perfect and they sometimes need time to develop trust. But at the end, the reward is worth it. Just being able to change their lives is touching. To see how they have changed because someone gave them a chance and didn’t give up in the first sign of rejection.
A lot of these strays go to animal shelters. Which are not always the best situations for the strays; especially when they are a kill shelter. By adopting, you are giving them a second chance at life. These strays have a limited time to be adopted and saved.

I think my biggest challenge during this project was trying to find inspiration for my own ident. I eventually used some of the sample videos done by a company that does logo animations for sporting events as inspiration for my animation. I attempted to base the style of my ident off of the rainbow colors in my logo. The animated colors moving up the screen at the beginning and the changing colors of the fractal noise at the end both go in the same order as in the logo itself. I thought the song fit with the brightness of the colors as well as the general flow of the animation. Overall, I was happy with how the animation fit with the logo, but I think I could have done even more with more time to work and experiment.

I think the building is a headquarters. The Longmire area has a lodge, a museum, and other areas. I stopped at the museum but ... honestly I didn't like the stuffed animals.
The name Longmire comes from the first white person to settle there. Also, there is a path around Soda Springs. That is where we are going.
This is the first bracelet I've made. I tried to use as many of the beads and pearls I've collected over the years as possible... I totally love it!
