Entrepreneurs in Think Up today learned about social media outreach as well as writing their business plan. This afternoon they are finishing up their logo designs and prototypes.
I think you have to look at this one full size to really appreciate it. There's just something about the quality of the foliage and light along the wall that reminds me of a spooky dream where I can't move or make a noise.
Okay, ew. Finish up, and then we'll play.
Super hugs and thanks to my Mosesanta, Xtarath, who told me through IdolNinja (disguised as ProxyNinja) that I wasn't allowed to post until I'd received anything and told him. He had plans.
You have no idea how hard it's been for me not to explode with cheer all over this thread. I mean, Christ, I got Bowser's Inside Story through, sent a message to IdolNinja, and got a message back saying 'awesome. Now wait for three more packages.'
What.
So then the books arrived, and it was like whaaaaaaaat?! I assumed that Amazon had decided to group everything together instead of sending them in seperate packages. There was no way there was more stuff coming, right?
This morning, I got the other two through, and seriously, I cannot thank him enough. This is some damn good stalking, to start with - I'm not exactly vocal about how fond I am of Chris Moyles, although I think I might have said something in a podcast thread once. I've started reading the first book and it's full of stories about people behind the show, it's great. My brother came home from university yesterday, so we're going to sit down and play Mario with him, my housemate and my mother either tonight or tomorrow, once I source some extra Wii remotes from my nephews. And Bowser's Inside Story will be shoved into my DS and played the shit out of on a long train journey I have next week.
I think this is taken at the 50 Cent Hole. My Dad looses his swimming trunks water skiing because he holds on to the rope when he falls and my Uncle Terry has to have the boat going so fast to even pull my Dad out of the water in the first place.
the ball slipped out of her mouth just as i pressed the shutter. i think she spits it out on purpose just so she can scramble around and re-catch the ball. why just carry a ball around? that's boring.

Zaira has gotten good at what our trainer calls "offering behaviors" when she knows that I have food she wants. Here she's obviously lying down in hopes of getting some. Yesterday, however, while we were walking, she decided she wanted a treat and although she was on the Flexi-lead, came straight to my left side at a perfect heel, looked up at me expectantly and licked her lips. I think it was my favorite behavior offered yet!
On another note, Zee is in love with the leaves. She thinks they are a great toy.
Ok.. I think his name is Mike Paul. We were gobbling up pizza when I saw the sun providing the perfect rim lighting on his face.. and how can I miss an opportunity to show off my 85mm/1.8
i saw this fruit stand from afar and i may have gone there even faster than light :)
but they are all fake!
result? dissapointment, hearthbrake and 2 photos :))
More experimentation in the kitchen sink. This time used the flash off the camera with white paper in the background. My only problem is not getting dramatic enough splashes - I don't think the distance of drop from the tap to the glass is high enough - I'll have to thin about how to make a longer drop.
The monumental size The Thinker by Auguste Rodin was erected by public subscription in 1906.
Visit the Musée Rodin in Paris to see the best collection of sculptures and art by Auguste Rodin displayed in his Hôtel Biron studio and the popular museum garden.
