I think this is my most visited Suffolk church. It all started many moons ago when I heard the story of Anne Boleyns heart being discovered here in a heart shaped box bricked up behind a wall during some renovations, and then buried in the Cornwallis family vault beneath the organ. I like little things like this whether they be just urban legend or not.
There are some fantastic memorials in this church. Whilst I was here I went up in the pulpit, it is the highest pulpit I have found so far.
A trip round the rear of this church reveals some wonderful views down tro the Stour. I love this church and no doubt will visit it again to photograph all that I missed due to my ignorance of certain churchy things. But thanks to clever people like the inspirational Simon Knott of Suffolkchurches.com and Mortlock, I am slowly learning.
Girls Think Tank in collaboration with Embrace, two non-profit organizations volunteering time and effort to help veterans in San Diego. Passing out 'Winter Survival Pack' and hot food to those who served our country.

I waited ages to get this, but it's not quite there.
The chap in the bottom right was fishing but had stopped by the time I was in a decent position. He was bent over his rods for ages, which wouldn't have been a good photo, and I just got this one off when he stood up and began walking away from the shore. Shame it's not straighter too.
Unfortunately the negative is streaked vertically. Not sure what's caused that. And there are loads of white spots, presumably from Snappy Snaps' scanning process. I usually retouch them but I've left all these in so you can see how bad it gets. I'm going to try Peak Imaging instead next time round...

Think the shape of these sculptures is rather suited to London skyline views - dont think this will be the only one!
This bird has been hanging out in the yard all afternoon. I wouldn't find this very strange if I lived anywhere near a body of water. It keeps flying away when I go outside to take a picture of it. I just looked out the window and it is back for the 4th time.
I think this is about where we ended up. After walking out of Red Bridge, we joined the #NCT and the terrain changed. The Manistee River trail stays up atop the riverbank. Whereas the NCT side has more ups and downs along the hills. By this point we were getting tired, our bags were getting heavier and our feet hurt. However, there didnt seem to be as many campsites on this side. We were going to stay at Red Hill, but there were people setup there. Finally, we came to this hill, which looked out over the entire river valley.
