Jay could hear sirens outside the bank as police arrived on the scene. With The Flash's help, the whole gang was in cuffs and waiting for their ride to the station.
"Alright gentlemen, how's about we see who's behind these terrible robberies!" The Flash said proudly as his enemy sat bickering on the floor. Removing The Rival's mask, officers of the Keystone police force gasped!
"Holy smokes! It's Dr Clariss, the world renowned chemist!" One of the coppers said in surprise.
"Ready to talk now, chum?" Jay pestered to Dr Clariss.
"Alright, alright! I confess!" The Rival's head hung with shame, "I wanted to replicate the 'hard water' formula that gave The Flash his speed to increase my own, but my first attempt did but the opposite! I needed money for my research!"
"So robbing banks was the best idea you could come up with, Mister Clariss?” Another officer asked.
"Sure! And I would have gotten away with it too it it wasn't for The Flash meddling with my plans!" Clariss cursed, glaring at Jay from over his shoulder
"Well friend, you'll have plenty of time to study in the cell of Keystone's county jail!" With a slap on the back of the doctor, Jay and the officers laughed as Clariss was picked up off the ground and carried out to the paddy wagon.
"One day Flash!” Clariss shouted, “I will be the fastest man alive! Just you wait! You'll see!" The Rival's voice faded as he was carried off to prison!

Just a reminder, Patreon is a 'pay what you want' situation :)
For just a dollar a month (that's less than a comic book!) you get access to three times as many photo's as I upload here! Any proceeds from Patreon go right back into my photography, so if you really want me to shoot your favorite fig or remake your favorite story, you'd be funding it! Also you can comment and ask questions on how I get my shots and learn how I do what I do!
I'd really like to pick up Christo's new CW Flash, and you can help me get it by supporting my Patreon! :)
But anyway, this is the last panel in The Rival comic set! I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it for you! :)

For a moment, Hartley stood in shock at what had just happened. For a second or two Rathaway was now all alone in the alley of the bar he just robbed, except for all of his bags and his sonic flute were gone! Suddenly without warning, in a bright red gush of motion, two of Central City's finest were standing in front of him, his hood was pulled back, and best of all he was in handcuffs! Before Hartley could say a thing, the startled policemen frantically bumbled forward and took him off The Flash's hands.
Brushing off his gloves, and with a cocky smile The Flash mocked, “Well that didn't take so long, now did it?”

Well that's all for now guys! What did you think of the story/figs/moc/whatever? I love to hear feedback, so let me know what you thought! :)
Our next Rouge will really be bringing the heat... ;)
So I made some more speedsters! :P
I put a bit of effort into updating my past Flash-esq designs with some updated parts and construction. They're actually pretty solid overall! Be sure to check out the Patreon page if you want to see how they both came together ;)

Despite my well known disappointment with the New 52, I hope that we can all agree that Francis Manapul's artwork on The Flash (N52) was incredible! His redesigns of Golden Glider, The Rouges, and Mr Grodd were some really solid stuff! Most specifically what comes to mind though was his paneling and use of integrating text into the artwork itself and no one does it better than Francis!
Kat's MF design (with Christo's printing) is no exception to those feelings! I realized when I picked up this figure back in late July of last year, that I never took any solo photos of Daniel West! So here's me fixing that! :)
Daniel West is an interesting Speedster, and he worked pretty well in the N52's Flash Family dynamic at the time! (...Still not sure how I feel about Iris as a Speedster though...) He's also rather enjoyable in his brief run in The N52 Suicide Squad as well. I hope he's still kickin it in the Speedforce somewhere and we'll see him again one day.
But yeah... with Christo recently sending out his Yellow Suicide Squad variant's of Danny boy, I figured it was as good a time as any to share some solo shots of him :)
And no, I'm a little tight on cash right now, so sadly I missed out on the SS Yellow variant... buuuuuuut if you want to support me on Patreon perhaps I won't miss out on one of Christo's next releases ;)
It's only a dollar! (you don't even need to spend that much if you don't want to!) Pay what you want and support the arts! :)
I've got some great projects coming soon! Some new Mad Max stuff is just around the corner, with a Mr Freeze Lair hot (or cold) on it's heels, then some Throwback Thursday's from photoshoots pre-2014, maybe even Amnesty Bay if that all works out ;)
You can see all of that before anyone on Flickr! That also includes all the behind the scenes/work in progress that takes place in any given shoot! :)
Really though, show your support and grow the community! I'd hate to stop sharing my work because I can't afford it! :P
Thanks guys :)

Speed on over to Patreon! It's got early photography, behind the scenes images, and WIPs of upcoming projects!
A whistling burst of air pierced the silence, and a great gust of wind entered the bank as a streak of red and blue lurched to a halt in the middle of the room! The Flash smirked and raised his head to find The Rival's gang waiting for him.
"Drop your weapons gentlemen, and we can still walk away from this..." Jay Garrick spoke stern and calmly. It took a second for the villainous characters to catch up and see who was now in their midst.
"The Flash?!" A gang member exclaimed, "But the 'slow-down gas'! Howd'ya get your powers back?" He asked scratching his angry brow.
"It's a long story! I'll tell you boys all about it when you're behind bars!" Jay said coyly. “Now lets end this nonsense and go home! Whatd'ya say to that?”
"Look-y here fellas! Seems like The Flash is peckin' for a fight!" another gang member taunted. "Yeah, Flash! We ain't goin' back to the slammer with out havin' a few words about'it!" another goon said as the whole crew raised their guns!
"Well if a sock on the ol'jaw is what you need...." Jay pulled up his sleeves and raised his arms, "...Then that's what you're going to get!"

Okay guys, I’m trying to get back on the horse today! I’ve got some new Patreon content going up tomorrow evening and I’m finally sharing a portion of this JakaBrick Flash review I put together!
Last month on Patreon, I took a super in-depth look at my collection of Jay Garrick’s and his subsequent company! I put them all head to head in a SUPER MEGA REVIEW ft the customs of Crystal Minifigs, TLG, Christo7108, DounutMinifigs, and the newcomer JakaBricks of course (the figs that inspired the idea)! I compare everything from helmet molds, print quality, overall design aesthetics! Everything! So check it out now if you want because I had A LOT to say about them all! :P

For what felt like seconds, the 10 minute shootout was finally over! Captain Cold put up a good fight, and nearly had The Flash at one point, but if it wasn't for quick thinking, Barry would have been a Flash-cicle!
“I've got CCPD on their way! It's over, Snart!” Barry shouted, a yellow boot pressed firmly into the captain's chest.
“You'll see me again Flash! Our fight is never over!”
“Uh-huh, yeah, sure, if you'll excuse me” Barry zipped across the room and vibrated Iris free!
“Geez, I thought he had you there for a second...” She joked “Thanks for coming, so much for our ice-cream date though, huh?”
“Oh get a room!” Snart moaned in pain, possibly from the kick to the stomach, possibly from his ear drums.
“Haha, well you know, I think I'd rather go for something warmer next time anyway” Barry joked with a smile “Come on, lets get out of here!”
Barry swept Iris off her feet, and the two speed off into the night!
--------------------------------------
We now come to a close with Barry and Iris together again! I'm sure we haven't seen the end of Captain Cold, but as it seems to be, my Rouge Series is almost complete! We've only got one villain left to face this year, but who could it be...?
You guys will just have to wait and see! ;)
So DC has yet another TV show primed and ready to throw at your television (not to mention Teen Titans, and Legends of Tomorrow right on their heels)
CBS's Supergirl trailer has just dropped earlier today:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm46-envrHo
Now to be honest, I've got some mixed feeling over it. The first being that not a single time was the Superman name used. This is becoming a really weirdly drawn thin line between DCCU and The Arrow-verse because like, her origins and bigger story-arcs are heavily reliant on him. I feel like most people see her as a Superman protege anyway, so you'd think they'd at least name drop him once, but hey, I don't work in DC's legal department.
It's just getting a little funky, like does this mean that the DCCU can't use characters like Supergirl, without them just being references, like the "My Cousin" phrase they kept using? Hell, we're gonna have two different live action Flash's by 2018... but I dunno... I probably shouldn't be so bent out of shape because of over thinking something :P
Anyway, if you guys have some venting to do about this trailer (like I do, clearly), let me know what you thought :)
There was a theory that Barry Allen was one of the most key members in the forgeing of the Justice League. Eobard Thawne, The Reverse Flash, was incredibly determined to push and test this theory deriving out of hatred of Allen. But he didn't stop with just The Flash. Not only did he alter The Flash's origin, essentially never granting Barry Allen his powers, but one by one altered the time stream of every other Justice League Member, bringing radically character altering motives in play.
Because of his immense changes, Themascera went to war with the people of Atlantis, causing the the origins of The Legion of Doom (which tried their best, but couldn't stop these huge forces of nature from destroying major cities in their wake)
We now enter the final battle between the two gods....
---------------------------------------
Man was this a fun build to work with :)
I've been working with a good amount of Forced Perspective building techniques lately and I have to say this is my favorite thus far.
Build time was around 2-3ish hours, Photo Shoot time was close to 2 hours, and Post-Production racked up at around 4-5ish hours. (which you'll see why soon enough ;) )
Anyway, let me know what you guys think, and be sure to strap yourselves in for one of my biggest Photo Set's yet :P
A strange original character from a strange show from like thirty years ago.
Here's just a quick shot taken of my newest Christo Flash (with edited boots because WHY DIDN'T CHRISTO GIVE HIM BOOTS?)! It really bugs me that I bought this figure nearly a year ago, and as serviceable as the design is, it was missing that crucial aspect of the costume! So I quickly threw some rough editing together and this was the result :)
Anyway, I shared a handful of other “review-like” bonus post on Patreon FOR FREE (yes you read that correctly) They're all up there now, veiwable by the public just to give you an idea of what my other posts tend to be like!
Well usually they're a little more in-depth than the one's about Pollux, but you get the idea :P
Ultimately, I felt obligated to share this one over here because this is where my Christo Flash collection began and I wanted to make sure he didn’t get forgotten!
Anyway, go check out my Patreon right now to read all of my thought's about this fig :)

Happy New Year to one and all.
AKA Eobard Thawne, the Reverse Flash is the Flash's archnemesis. With similar abilities, but more experience, Thawne has been fighting the Flash for a lifetime.
Part of The Villains We Fear, my BFVA 2018 individual project.
Reverse Flash here looks awesome next to my Flash figure from last year. Their bases are exactly the same height, with similar designs, while Reverse Flash's base is meant to be slightly more futuristic.
I'm proud of how this figure turned out, as I was able to make him less bulky compared to my Flash figure, adding to the athletic look of the characters.
Check out the Beyond the Brick video interview!

Through the creations that I build, I hope to inspire other young (or perhaps older) LEGO builders to unleash their inner creativity. We all need a positive way to express ourselves, so let's allow LEGO to be an extension of us. Your creativity belongs to you, and nobody can take that away. Build what you want to build, and how you want to build it.
There have been a recent chain of robbery's in local businesses and shops on Keystone's side of the river. Being a part of the CCPD Barry has no trouble seeing the damage this does to the owners of these small business. Events like this are leaving them running scared! Residents of the surrounding areas claim to have seen a hooded figure entering and exiting the locations of the robbery's, with nearly all witnesses stating they had heard a 'terrible shrieking' noise from the crimes scenes before seeing an assailant flee the area. Perhaps The Flash can investigate....
--------------------------------------
Hartley Rathaway makes his debut appearance in my DC Lego-verse! Yay Pied Piper! :P
Such an awesome character to finally have built to rival The Flash! The design of the fig was based primarily off of his New 52 appearances, with a hint of my own tweaking. Still wish I owned some rat's though... (I don't own a single one, crazy) It would have really rounded out this build for me.
Another wise, what do you guys think? Keep in tune tomorrow, as we get to part 2! :)
Left to Right: Green Arrow, (Back) Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, (Back) Hawkgirl, Superman, Batman, (Back) Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz), and The Flash.

“Snart!” Barry shouted.
“Flash! So nice of you to drop by!” Cold said sarcastically
“This is it Snart! You've drawn the line this time! You're not getting your money!”
“Oh I'm shaking in my snow shoes!”
“I'm not playing games. This ends now!”
“Oh come on, I'm on a tight schedule, lets get this over with!” Captain Cold activated his Freeze Guns and spun them around his fingers like a cowboy. “What do they say? This town isn't big enough...?”
“Let's dance, partner!” And without a second's notice, The Flash bolted into action!
--------------------------------------
Enter The Flash!
Part 3 Tomorrow! :)
After hearing of his passing early this morning, I've been crushed.
I have this weird sort of sad gratefulness in my heart right now. What a fuckin legend Darwyn was. I'm so incredibly happy to have found so much inspiration and respect from Mr. Cooke.
Endings really make me sad. There is this sort of feeling where deep down you have to admit to yourself that eventually things will change, whether you want them to or not. And that sucks because maybe those things were perfect, and perhaps those things never needed to change. Perhaps those were things that changed yourself and bettered you in a way that blew your mind.
I'm saddened to have lost such a wonderful artist and writer, but... I'm glad that he shared his talent with the world. So that one day that talent would inspire me.
I've never really been choked up like this before about someone I've never met. But still somehow I felt like I connected to this person on a type of emotional plane in an art form that fuckin kicked ass. Like shit, have you seen the guy's line work? The crisp angles and use of color, his use of period-type settings and styling of a pre Cold War nostalgia.
Like, it's weird. Darwyn could draw new books that looked like how you remembered the classics. Like the way your mind fills in the blanks between the panels, he just brought something new to the table for me without skipping a beat of the Golden Age, pushing right on into the Silver.
I lost a personal hero today, but that only teaches me to keep moving forward in my life. Driving me to be positive and inspire others, like he has done for me.
Darwyn Cooke, you have entered your final frontier.
Rest in peace, friend.

after my flash and GA in my kingdom come photo i wanted to get a good pic of these guys.
Left To Right
Hawkman: nothing new
Green Lantern: lots of capes. really like the torso choice
Dr Fate; still one of my favorites ever.
The Flash: i used the decool flash torso since it looks a little older.
Red Tornado. new collar from cape madness
WIldcat: least favorite of these. still good though
The Specter: same from Kingdom come, but for some reason he was photographed weird.
What Comes Around: Part 2
“What'd I miss?” Flash joked as he met Green Arrow's side
“Well I think he was about to monolouge....” Arrow mocked
“Oh come on! This is hardly fair!” Boomerang butted in, “With this cash, The Rouges will finally take you down Flash! And Central city along with it! Nothing will stop us! Not even--”
“Okay I've heard enough!” Flash cut in “You take the left, I've got the right?” and without any hesitation, he shot forward, lightning in his wake!
--------------------------------------
Things are really starting to pick up! It's fun writing banter for these three so we're not quite done yet! Part 3 tomorrow!
POW!
Just another day in Central City...this time the Flash saves a damsel from a common crook by the creek in the park.
=======================
Did this just for fun yesterday. :) Enjoy the build!
"...Is getting the costume 'back' in the ring"
Well I guess this answers the question of which Flash is my Flash. I went with the classic, Barry Allan.
And for the record, it is very difficult to balance a minifig holding a minifig by a gold band while still making it look presentable.
As Mardon lay face down on the wet pavement, the sun began to peek through the dark clouds of combat. It was over for now, but Barry couldn't help but feel that there were still many trials that awaited him....
--------------------------------------
And here we come to a close once more. With the wrap on the Wizard, we've made it halfway through my Rouges series already! Woo! With a total of eight different villains in the series, we have beaten four of them!
Who might we see next...?
Perhaps a primate? ;)
Now I'll be honest, I didn't expect Christo to make a Black Lantern Eobard, but it was a pleasant surprise! It uses the same metallic printing as seen before on The Dark Flash, and The White Lantern. I don't know how often I'll actually shoot with this fig, but I'm really glad to have him, just to keep complete, with the full set of Christo Flash's. :)
These shots were taken on the same graveyard as my Black Lantern Batman flic.kr/p/FHcBcM , but I wanted to make these images a bit more artistic, rather than a re-creation of an actual comic panel. Scott Kollin's work in the mini Blackest Night spin-off is awesome, and I did my best to kind of channel that artistic flow.
I was a little late to the scene with this one, but I'm finally getting to share these shots with you guys! I hope you guy's like them! :)

Still haven't got a name for this new universe, so unless stated otherwise it's best to just assume anything character related I upload is a part of it.
Now that's done, let's talk about the Justice league. This is the Justice league that preceded the next gen one, the originals. There's not actually supposed to be nine of them, just seven, Martian Manhunter and Green Arrow were just added...for a reason I can't remember. It doesn't really matter tbh.
There's nothing that amazing about the figs themselves, this upload is only really to flesh out the world preceding the Next gen league and the other group.
So, let's meet the League. As their time has passed, I'm not gonna do proper bios for them, cos there's a big chance they'll never be mentioned again...just like this whole thing tbh, but just go with it.
Green Arrow - I've had him knocking around for a while, just chucked him at the line up to see if he stuck, which he did.
Aquaman - Went for a more stern look for Aquaman, I love that head but I can never make it work outside of him due to the colour of the eyebrows.
The Flash - Like I've said previously, the order of the Flash's in this universe are a bit funky. This is Barry Allen, who has a similar look to Jay Garrick.
Wonder Woman - Gave her short hair, as well as a small blue cape. Just liked how it looked tbh. She's also the leader of the league, though that's not reflected in the pic because....focus, lighting and other photography words.
Superman - Nothing too special here, just a kind of advanced version of the cmf. Gave him better hair, red bands around his wrists, nothing too fancy.
Batman - He's the only one of these that I'll be coming back to in more detail. He's pretty basic, only real difference are the spikes on his shoulders.
Green Lantern - The white heavy uniform's grown on me, so I used it again for this GL, just made him Hal Jordan this time.
Martian Manhunter - Couldn't really do much with him, so I just gave him some of cmf Superman's legs.
Black Canary - She's a member of the main 7. Had to make her from scratch, gave her a whole new look, I think it works.
And that's the lot. The main team is made up of:
Aquaman
Batman
Black Canary
Green Lantern
Superman
The Flash
Wonder Woman
Like i said, the other two are there for reasons I can't quite remember...might have been to do with the next gen league, as I too the pics at the same time. Anyway, as always, please let me know what you think, and if you'd like to see more of this world I'm making that will ultimately go nowhere :D

Wow! Can you guys believe that it's already been a year since the pilot episode for The Flash aired? And now here we are, Season Finale day! This show has been nothing short of incredible and I'm so very happy at how much it has already done for Flash fans. I mean come on, besides the one-off minor villans, we've already seen Zoom, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Captain Boomerang (Arrow), Pied Piper, Weather Wizard, and Grodd.... plus all of the hero team-ups as well! :)
So anyway, this is one of two figures you will see today, for the other will be posted after the episode has aired; we can talk spoilers and what not on that post. :P
Onlinesailin has done an amazing job designing the two figs I'm sharing with you today and to be honest, this is the best and most accurate of a Grant Gustin Flash Minifig that I've seen, and I'm glad to own one!
But anyway, I'm very excited for tonight's episode and I can't wait to share Part 2 of this shoot later tonight :)

Speeding all over central city, The Flash made chase after some clearly terrified chickens! It took only moments, but not a second to soon! Barry tackled the poultry, tumbling to a halt. He was was ready to sacrifice his life for the city! Only to have the bomb explode into small chunks of confetti and a puff of purple smoke!
“BOK!” one of the sparkly chickens clucked from under him
“Uh... well... you're welcome...?”
___________________________________________
Do you ever have those moments where you stop and ask yourself what in the world you're doing? I'm having one of those moments right now. Clearly there wasn't a whole lot of effort put into the writing this time around :P
Obviously I'm very good at writing for The Trickster... (Oh boy, this is a trainwreck)

The rip in the Speed-Force grew larger until Barry could just make out the imagery of himself from years before, then next to him, he saw a younger Eobard in distance! It was the moment before they had gotten their speed! But before he could speak, he saw Zoom's kinetic lightning chase down his speed-trail, spark, and pierced the window of Barry's old lab!
Simultaneously The Flash's own lighting shattered through the speed force and struck the computer consuls of Eobard's 25th century lab!
Then almost like being electrocuted, Barry's connection to the Speed-Force surged back into his body!
As the rift closed behind the two speedsters, Zoom began to slow. The scales were balanced. This fight was over!
--------------------------------------
Alright now this has got to be my favorite of the series! It's been a good long while now since I last posted a Barry Allen fig, so I gave him a bit of an update. Plus, I've been wanting to show off my Eobard Thawne Figure for a long time now, and I'd be lying if I said that this figure wasn't the reason behind creating this story arc :P
On a side note I know the figs don't quite match up with the story but I wanted to encompass as much of each character as I could... Like adding their Flash Rings for example :P
As promised, the second of two with Mirror Master.
This one was a very fun shoot to work on. Like I mentioned in the other image, there were no mirrors or physical illusions to take the cake. Just two minifigs; and if I'm not mistaken, comprised of eleven different shots. I created this in a similar fashion to stop-motion in the regards that I kept a stationary camera and continued to move the fig to shape the ring, and of course, keeping Flash stationary for the need of a focal point.
Later in post, I overlaid all of the shots and by either erasing around the fig, or building around it with another layer/image, created this fine specimen.
I am really happy how this turned out in the end :)
The time jump landed in them both in an ally somewhere in Central City. Barry emerged first before Eobard came through the Speed-Force behind him. Barry was certainly feeling the effects of his speed unbalanced to Thawne's.
"I see it in your eyes Flash. You know you're out matched!"
Despite his lack of confidence Barry pushed back and threw a few defensive punches before jaunting across the city. Over the course of seconds half the country was nearly a blur behind the two of them. Pushing, bashing, and even trying to trip each other was the way to get the upper hand.
Another second pasted and the two speedsters made it to the west coast and crossed The Pacific Ocean. It was at this moment Barry saw a bead of sweat leave Zoom's mask. That was all he needed to know, that he still had a chance in this race!
--------------------------------------
Fun Fact: This entire collage took over 9 hours of Post-Production, with an average time of 1-3 hours per image! :)
Here's my obligatory updated Christo Bucket Helmet Flash collection because I've been doing this since 2013 and I see no reason to stop since I seem to be one of the few that might have the full collection

“Uuuuggghhhhh” Rory moaned on the floor
“Oh come on, it couldn't have been that bad!” Barry joked as he poured another bucket over him.
Taking a few more trips to the river and back, The Flash had finally gotten the fire to subside. Outside he could hear sirens and firemen setting up their equipment!
“Well looks like that's our cue!” The Flash said, heaving Heatwave over his shoulder, rushing him to Keystone General Hospital.
After checking Rory into the ER, Barry left the hospital. Of course as soon as he comes outside he could feel the wind start to pick up. I wonder what kind of nasty weather is brewing...?
--------------------------------------
Alright everybody, that's it for Heatwave! There is still plenty more to come, so until next time, you might want to go pick up an umbrella.... :P
Thinking quick on his feet, The Flash snapped into action! First things first, he was gonna need an extinguisher! Making a break for Central City's Fire and Rescue team, he alerted them to the danger, but that still wouldn't be enough time to stop the blaze! Running to the nearest hardware store, he zipped in a bought a large bucket, then immediately ran to the river dividing The Gem Cities!
Returning to the crime, things were really heating up! The entire building was ablaze! Barry had to stop this! Snatching Mick's flamethrower, he retreated with the weapon and drenched the hot metal, shorting out the circuits inside the weapon!

It should be at this time that I note how fun this build was! I'll probably post some wider shots of the MOC on my instagram once the entire photoset is uploaded, just so you guys can see the full build if you'd like :)
Anyway, Part 3 is coming tomorrow! :)
It took a moment to for Barry to catch his breath and make it to his feet again. Looking over his shoulder he could see Thawne breathing heavily.
"Real smooth, Allen!" He said sarcastically
"Thanks..." Barry responded equally sarcastic
"This is over Flash, I've taken the Speed-Force from you! I've taken everything from you"
"Don't bring my Mother into this, you know damn well-"
"That I killed her, yes, blah blah blah, get over it! You should be thanking me for it! It made you stronger Flash, we both know it!"
"That's no exception!"
"You're such a little hero aren't you...?" Eobard gave a coy smile "...but you could never save your Mommy...."
Barry clenched a fist.
"Come on, I know you want to...." Zoom's smile grew.
Flash shouted and lashed forward as fast as the speed force could carry him! Thawne shot straight at him and the two clashed together so fast that it only took a spark to rip open the Speed-Force!

A bit more story development with this one....
