Well partner, apparently I do thrive under a bit of pressure. This has varied a bit from the original plan but most of my quilts usually do. Here's hoping you like a little texture with your quilt! =D

This is life on the river. Sometimes. On quiet windless days, just floating down hoping something will nibble. Rather like life sometimes. My life is the opposite of this at present so I take comfort looking at this. Hope you do too. I used les brumes beautiful texture /048 here

"Hummingbird Texture" by Patti Deters. This Ruby-throated Hummingbird (archilochus colubris) image was photographed in my own backyard in Minnesota. It kept trying to "eat" from from the frost-nipped leaf. I'm not sure what the attraction was - perhaps there was a small pool of water on the leaf that it was drinking.
