One from my archives... a Lotus always attracts attention! They are beautiful in every stage. Unfortunately, this one is no longer living in my pond but for years we enjoyed her beauty!!

Cover of a small, personal journal. This image was made in response to Flickr Friday's April 16 "Texture" theme. New (to me), very sharp Sigma 70mm macro, an Art series lens.

Still no new photos from me as I've been really busy lately. I found this photo of carnation flowers from the archive which was taken last year. I wanted it to look a bit different so I thought of applying some grungy textures...Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone and Happy Hearts Day in advance!!!
