These scenes are about as far removed from the conditions I have experienced this winter as is possible. In fact I would go as far as to say that this was probably the last time I experienced the cold. Within a couple of days the snow had passed and spring started springing properly

This is a scan of an old print I shot years ago. I was using a Minolta XG-A camera ( auto exposure was the only mode), Kodak gold 200 and a wretched Vivitar 70-210 zoom. I couldn't tell ya what I had for breakfast, but I remember the details of this shot. I was going to be a wildlife photographer. Mosquito's and ticks changed my mind.

For the 115 in 2015 Group - #91 Spices/spicy

I wasn't too sure about the difference between a herbs and spices, and where cinnamon belongs! So I checked with the Wiki ;o)

"Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamomum that is used in both sweet and savoury foods".

This dock was built to replace the one Hurricane Denise destroyed. Unfortunately Hurricane Michael took this one out. They have a new dock now, but I liked this one better. I hope the new one last longer. This is always a good spot to catch the sunrise over the Carrabelle River. This is a shot that I had never processed, so I thought I would try texturing it. I processed it in Photoshop using two of my own textures.

Taken in the Olympic National Park in Northeastern Washington state.
