Most modern truck stops, whether owned by a major truck stop corporation or a franchise, are clean and have new fueling pumps and credit card readers. Pasco Washington is a trucking hub for this part of Washington, trucks everywhere, but the truck stops are all old and worn out. A new or updated truck stop here would do well.

Turn any photo into art

From Expert tab In photoshop

1. with Layers selected copy your image (in PC ) Ctrl J

2. working on the top layer

Filter - Pixelate - Mezzotint - Long Lines

Filter - Blur - Radial Blur - amount 100 - method - zoom Quality -Best OK

Then Select Radial Blur 3 more times

3. Ctrl J again to make a second copy

4. Working on layer 1

Filter - Distort - Twirl Select 175 OK

Now working on Layer 1 copy -Distort - Twirl Select -175 OK

5. Blend mode on the Right select the drop down arrow on Normal tab

Then select Lighten. This will blend your layers together.

Save if you are pleased

“Macro Mondays” and this week’s theme “Member's Choice: Texture"

You may wonder what that structure would be that the bushtit is perched on. My wife was a Registered Nurse (let the registered part lapse), and the hospital where she worked changed their privacy screens in the rooms, and allowed employees to take the old ones. She got this trifold metal-framed screen, which she uses in the garden for supporting plants. After putting this image on my computer, I saw that strong contrast in texture between the soft feathers of the bushtit and the rusty, hard metal.
