Savannah tested for her gold belt and Chris tested for his orange belt on the same day. Both passed!
Last year it seemed like everyone and their mom's was trying out for Adventure Time (my favorite cartoon) and I was no exception. Obviously, I didn't make the cut but I thought I'd post my boards. If you look at this one in the slideshow view it's more fun to cycle through.

As dusk approaches and after the end of public services the freshly overhauled 'Duchess of Sutherland' takes to the Midland Railway Centre's running line on a test run.
I rented the Canon 85mm f/1.2 for the weekend from Penn Camera on E street. This is a lens I've always wanted even though I've never used it. I decided to do some quick shots of Sam on the (her) couch to test it out. I love the sliver of a DOF that's for sure, but boy this lens sure does weigh a lot and doesn't focus very fast compared to other "L" lenses. Overall I think I'm really going to like it and someday it will be mine. Oh yes.
OKay so while I test lights it makes most sense for me to be the 'model' eikkkkk not a fan but I think the lighting came out okay
There were two guys testing the water at Audubon Park. They told me they do this periodically. I wonder what were the results.

I'm trying to get my camera program to process videos one frame at a time (which isn't as easy or obvious as it may seem) and so made a short video of our neighborhood as a test video. I saved frames as it was processing and so made a panorama out of the video.

I am testing once again. It seems like it will take forever to get one of these that I like. I know you shouldn't upload any photos to flickr that you don't like, but I am hoping that if I keep looking at it, I will see what is wrong and needs work. And I wanted to get this cool grass of mine in a shot. You should see the Christmas tree I have been working on (it was really bad) Anyway, the testing continues...
This is a test photo for edge detail and the new metering mode called 'Highlight weighted'. When looking at the EXIF data for Metering, it's listed as 'Other'. The pedals were very bright as the flower was backlight, no blown highlights.
Also, the fuzz on the leaves couldn't be sharper. Processing was basic Camera raw for posting.
