This was just a test shoot to get me lighting down for an upcoming maternity shoot in Jan.
Now we're getting someplace after an afternoon and evening of testing. Done just in time to watch the season 2 premier of the awesome HBO original series, "Rome." A grocery-store flower perched on my new Tokina 12-24 lens.
ADDED NOTE: I just tried replacing the translucent plastic sides with white posterboard, and I think that's the way to go. In other words ... just a big box with white insides seems to work best. I have use a flourescent lamp to illuminate the object, and I will set the strobe (or strobes) in the box with the Gary Fong diffusor and let the light bounce away the shadows.
So I will make another lightbox without holes in the sides. But I will cut a hole in the top and have a white panel I can remove for shooting down on objects. So that's tomorrow's project.

Testing out a Roll of Adox Colour Implosion film shot at 100 ASA using a Nikon F3HP camera, and Nikkor Ai 50mm f/1.4 lens
The film (and prints) look this bad on purpose, when shot at 100 ASA, the film has a definite blue cast, shot at 400 ASA, a Red cast. When I picked the film up from the lab, they thought I'd been shooting 30 year old film, rather than new film.

These are for a project-in-progress, but I like the way they were subconsciously assembled when I moved them.
A test of the EOS M with 22mm f/2 lens (not pictued) I bought at a low price. It isn't perfect, but it is hard to beat without paying three times as much.
I combined several exposures to make this image to go through all the regular processing I do. As a result, it is a good test for the lens, although I did correct for chromatic aberration, but not a good test for the camera.
The FLM Centerball ballhead in the picture has been great for macro photography. While I lock the sphere in place, it doesn't move unless it is very lose and I don't support the camera. This means I don't have to make several attempts to compose the image because the ballhead keeps pointing the camera somewhere I didn't.
I was firing at the ceiling. In this room it's about two stories tall, and I could pretty accurately hit the plate where a fan would go, if we got around to installing a fan instead of modding Nerf guns.
This was just a test shot to make sure my camera settings were right, but Ava decided to smile anyway.

Nos próximos dias a Carmen vai tirar umas férias, vai lá pro "Spa da Julia", e ai voltará novinha em folha (mais do que ela já é, na verdade!xD) pra casa, de cara nova!=)
Isso nem chega a ser um "teste", porque o que tentei fazer de fato eu "apaguei" (acabou ficando só a "sombra" e o "blush" _sim, tudo entre aspas mesmo!XD), mas como ela parecia TÃO triste sem nenhuma maquiagem/expressão no rostinho, desenhei umas sobrancelhas (que também serão tristonhas na custom <3), cÃlios (hahah, cÃlios super longos porque nos meus desenhos meus personagens têm todos cÃlios imensos!) e uma boquinha pra ela sorrir e parecer menos chateada por essa mãe louca ter tirado ela da caixa e já ter lixado tudo sem dó!='D
Aliás, sério, não tem coisa MAIS GOSTOSA do que tacar a lixa na cara de uma pullip, hahaha, claro que só tive coragem porque sou retardad... ops, porque não gosto nem um pouco da make na Nahh-ato e porque já tinha conversado com a Julia que, caso eu não conseguisse nada que prestasse, iria gritar por socorro!xD (foi o que fiz!xD)
Enfim, até que está simpática, e também tirei fotos porque quero comparar com a lindeza que ela vai voltar pra casa!*_* Vai ter dentinhos, omg, dentes MESMO, eu amo as pullips com carved que a Julia fez, sou apaixonada, e finalmente terei a minha dentuça!*o*~♥
A peruca vai ter que ser essa até a que quero pra ela (pretendo comprar semana que vem, acho) chegar (e deve demorar... porque, né, LOLRECEITA E LOLCORREIOS)... e os eyechips quero trocar também, mas como, né LOLRECEITA e LOLCORREIOS vou ver se lixo uns de Blythe/Byul aqui (já vi que dá nuns tutoriais) e se consigo fazer funcionar! Se não der, bom, paciência!^^'

Hi guys! My name is Wobble Pops, but mostly I just go by Wobbles. I was born July 10, 2017. I am a very sweet and very special boy who LOVES to be held and cuddled. I will kindly ask for attention to get pets, affection and love from my people. I am full of personality. You'll never meet another kitty like me. I am a fun boy who loves to play with all types of cat toys. When I was a kitten, I did not get to spend any time with other kitties my own age, so I did not learn all my manners very well. Sometimes, when I get really playful, I might nip too hard because I forget human arms are more delicate than my stuffed animal toys and other cats. So I would definitely do best in a home without little humans.
Everyone tells me that I am very special, but I don’t really think I am different from any other cat. When I was a very young kitten, I was in an accident; a little human closed a sliding door and I got caught in the way. Since the accident, I have not been able to use my rear legs, but I do not let that slow me down. My foster mom and dad did a lot of physical therapy with me and even got a wheelie cart for me. However, I'm not really a fan of the cart and am very happy being just the way I am. I get around just fine by myself, thank you very much. I tolerate baths, since I get them regularly, and I kind of enjoy the blow dryer. It’s nice and warm and gets me dry faster.
I may not be able to run and jump, but I still get around quite well and I can move fast when I want. I can move my rear legs and use them to help me get over small barriers, I just can't use them to stand longer than a few seconds, or to run and jump. I’m trying to learn how to use steps so I can get on the couch by myself (I can already get off the couch by myself). I get along very well with other cats, with cat-friendly dogs and even a chinchilla. I am just so happy to be alive and well and loved and cared for. Everyone tells me I am the happiest cat they know. I just want some yummy food and some nice people to give me lots of attention and to play with me too. As long as I have good food and get to cuddle and give you head rubs, I will keep being the happiest cat ever! Please give me a chance! I need a compassionate human to be my life companion. I promise to return your love tenfold.

While setting up scenes, I don't draw them out, I just keep adding and subtracting and taking test shots until it works out.
