In September 2024, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and JFK Millennium Partners, (JMP) the company that manages John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 7 and is currently building the airport’s new state-of-the art $4.2 billion Terminal 6, announced that renowned Brooklyn artist Ron Bass’ first-ever art airport installation will elevate the travel experience for Terminal 7 passengers by contributing to a uniquely New York sense of place.
The four wall murals represent the first major art exhibition at the terminal, which is home to 13 domestic and international airlines operating some 2,000 flights per day. The four installations are located in the departures and arrivals areas, marking a significant cultural addition to Terminal 7. Bass’ art exhibit at Terminal 7 will be on view for a limited period until 2026.
Passengers are invited to interact with the murals and to take a moment to connect with the artistic pulse of New York City before embarking on their journeys at these locations in Terminal 7:
-“Dear NY” – arrivals
-“Unified” – by gates 7/8
-“I (really) LOVE NY” – by the Currency Exchange near gates 5/6
-“Destination: New Heights” – gate 9

The Confederation Terminal (along Laurier Drive) in Saskatoon is in terrible shape. This past summer, Laurier Drive was closed for five days for resurfacing, and access to the terminal was non-existent. You would think that they took this time to resurface the Confederation Terminal as well, but that did not happen, despite being closed for five days. Now, Laurier Drive looks "new" and the terminal looks... lame. As a result, no buses stop on the south side of the terminal anymore.

This is the terminal moraine pushed forward by the Palisades Glacier, about as far as I got. Cairns lead up it to the left of this picture but it was too technical for me too climb over it to the glacier itself.

Terminal 4 - London
I never thought that Montreal's airport could be beaten by this fancy London airport.
