Don't you just love it when the next standby flight is at a totally different gate in a totally different terminal. Fun stuff.
I'm stuck at the airport waiting on standby thanks to Delta canceling my flight late last night. Already missed the opening of the Wal-Mart Sustainable Packaging Expo, as well as my meeting with CL group this morning. Waste of a full day, but hopefully the trip will still be worth it.
The former Chicago, Aurora, and Elgin Railway terminal in Aurora, Illinois, also known as the Hotel Arthur. Completed in 1905, it was the tallest building in Aurora at the time, as well as being the only hotel on the east side of the Fox River. In 1915, the CA&E leased space in the ground floor, and the building was renamed the Traction Terminal Building, a name it carries to this day. Now on the National Register of Historic Places, it's being restored and converted to downtown condos.

On my way back from Houston on the early afternoon of Sunday July 23rd, 2017. Pictures taken at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston, Texas from Terminal A where Delta flies. The main hub airline at IAH is United Airlines. Very excited to see an ANA and Korean Air 777s on the taxiways before taking off.
Wakkanai Ferry Terminal. You can go to 2 islands near Wakkanai, Rishiri and Rebun. International Ferry Terminal is also located near here, for Sakhalin.
Terminal A with mainly international flights. I had just driven down to spot and the rain had just turned to sleet, and no flights took off, however, the airport was not ready and planes sent to takeoff had to sit on the tarmac for up to 6 hours. Most made it to the de-icing pad and then were told that they were a no go to fly. This shows how crowded it was.
The ferry terminal on the left is the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, the one on the right is the The Battery Maritime Building that services the Governors Island Ferry.
