Gave Ari a room on top of my bookcase just for the moment until I can stop being lazy and make her a proper one. ^_^

...man, it's been such a headache moving so that we can get renovations done to our house (this shot is taken from the balcony of the apartment we are staying at). It was so sudden too... my parents decided on a whim that they're going to destroy the entire interior of our house so that we can update everything (our house was stuck in the 70s, but not in the good way). I know that it's totally needed, but the timing is so off right now (MIDTERMS). RAAAAARGH.... suffice to say, I haven't had time for much doll-ing...
Only Hen and Ingrid are with me as the others are packed up.
This house was absolutely beautiful in an artistic sense. There were so many layers of interest; wood floors covered in dirt, vegetation growing on the inside, vegetation overtaking the outside, layers so far gone that the sky was visible. All that pretty much remained was the natural portion of the house, the wood. A bit of plaster, yes, but everything else was gone.
We take from nature to build and nature takes it back. It's a tug and pull world out there and this house exemplified it all.

In the wake of the typhoon in late September, 2009, families who could not afford to properly rebuild constructed temporary houses using whatever they could find. Houses such as this one are unlikely to survive the next typhoon season, when Da Nang is hit by as many as five typhoons in the average year.
Dismaland is a temporary art project organised by street artist Banksy, constructed in the seaside resort town of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, England. Prepared in secret, the pop-up exhibition at the Tropicana, a disused lido, is "a sinister twist on Disneyland" that opened during the weekend of 21 August 2015. Banksy has described it as a "family theme park unsuitable for children."
Banksy created ten new works and funded the construction of the exhibition himself. The show features 58 artists of the 60 Banksy originally invited to participate, and is scheduled to run until 27 September 2015, for 36 days, with 4,000 tickets available for purchase per day
