The campers have all gone home now, leaving only some broken down straw bales and the rather curious showering facility shown in another picture. It would have been quite the place to wake up every morning, even if the facilities were quite rudimentary

Our car has been in the shop since last Monday, so our daughter Elizabeth has been kind enough to let us share her car. To make the sharing more convenient, she has been staying with us at night along with her dogs, Dexter and Ella. During the day, Dexter and Ella are staying with my husband and me at our business.
This was my view today when I looked to my left while working at my desk. Dexter was close enough to actually be on my chair mat.
It takes a while to prepare a self sustaining pond life environment in an aquarium, so this is a temporary home in a large sawn-off jar of the kind that fashionable folk keep imitation stones in.

This is a picture of graffiti which I found by accident driving back from Showcast Cinema. I decided to add this picture as I felt that its important to remember about local graffiti artists who are also leaving their “signs” around Reading. What interested me about this graffiti was its location- just next to the river which was reflecting the signs on its surface. I also liked rich colours of it and the fact that graffiti was painted on the top of each other creating visually interesting design.
