When it rains on the north end of Cascade Mountain many of the little slot canyons leading off of Provo Canyon develop some pretty dramatic "temporary waterfalls" Most of these falls disappear during the summer and freeze during the winter. This plunging falls is about 400 yards north of the Upper Bridal Veil Falls. All of these falls including Bridal Veil feed the Provo River.
Some or all of these falls may have names but they are unknown to me. If you know please comment and add the name. Thanks.
Shrewsbury Abbey station opened on 13 August 1866 as the temporary end of the Potteries, Shrewsbury and North Wales Railway (always known locally as 'The Potts'). It was built on part of a monastery that had been destroyed during the Reformation. In 1876 a railway carriage and wagon building works of the Midland Wagon Company operated next to the station. It closed in 1912.
When the station became the permanent terminus after financial difficulties caused the abandonment of the planned extension to Market Drayton, it struggled to make money. On 22 June 1880 Shrewsbury Abbey closed for the first time when the railway could no longer continue services; a rare example of a railway closure in Britain in the 19th century.
Several attempts were made to reopen the railway and in the 1890/91 a start was made on remodelling the station before financial problems again caused work to cease. The station was finally reopened on 13 April 1911 with a rebuilt line now known as the Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Railway. It finally closed to all passengers (except specials) on 6 November 1933.
Scrobbesbyrig to the Saxons, the county town of Shropshire is first mentioned in a charter of 901. Shrewsbury is stunning historic town with over 660 listed buildings and some very strange street names - Dogpole and Mardol, Gullet Passage and Grope Lane.
According to the Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman, "It takes a little exploration on foot to reveal the delights of this medieval town."

The title of the exhibition stands for contemporary public art.
It seems like we live in a world of growing privatisation, bureaucratisation, and surveillance, so artists do need to develop some new strategies how to intervene in public.
These interventions are temporally limited.
There are different reasons for that. You sometimes get a permission for the realisation of an artwork, you can sometimes use a certain gap in the system. (chalk drawings by Jens Besser and the sparkler- performance by Kata Huszár)
Artists might install their pieces only temporarily like the bulb – the strolling gallery by Bertram Weisshaar.
Artists of Mehrzweckhalle from Linz ignore being limited. These Linzer artists tried to indicate an own project space which is a certain evidence that there is a massive lack of reasonably priced studios and spaces around Linz.
Dancing and music have always had a significant role in public space. Therefore dancer Teresa Heckel and musician Lü have been selected and invited to this exhibition.
Both artists have been active in contemporary dancing and music scene in Friedrichstadtzentrale in Dresden for ages.
Street artists have different ways to go. Street art has always been unapproved which is meant to be illegal. Street artists use among others found material for their artworks on the streets. They paint walls. Big sized pieces, done by night. They stick self-made cut-outs and put them on feeder pillars. Street art is temporary too, artists leave their pieces in public.
Street art makes a difference bewteen preservation and destruction. Street artists's identity will be a secret during this festival, we'll let them work anonymously.
Been busy with the knitting needles. Fun, but not as fun as painting and journaling.
Repurposed part of a page from 2008.
While we wait for the house to sell, I have this small room set up as a studio. The sign on the windowsill for should there be anyone look at the house says "Quilts in Progress-Watch for Flying Fabric"........
Work has commenced on the Torquay Harbour Regeneration Project, and after Wednesday 8th November the time-honoured stops under the canopy outside Debenhams have been removed. Route 22 towards St Marychurch and Dawlish Warren now departs from this temporary stop outside the Co-op in Torwood Street.

You ask me when I'm gonna return
I ask you why so much concern
The same snakes that drive you from my bed
Turn to voices and drive me out of my head
For fourteen days since you been back around
Trying to keep my spirits high and my demons down
But, can't you see
You got to save me or set me free
Why don't you bury me like the dirt that's in my soul
What makes you think you could love me, anyway
Ain't nobody told you about the way I operate
Angel of mercy set me free
Do you really give a damn for me?
