This is a temporary situation until I have worked out the space properly. I want a larger desk, so that I can spread out and I would like to have shelves on the wall and a filing cabinet. As a work space it will do - FOR NOW!
Will they have an art exhibit on the roof in the summer?
Will they call it Temporarily Closed. Will it be steps to Nowhere?
the third drawer down has a mind of its own and oft times will just willy-nilly open itself up. (somewhat disconcerting but, no, i don't think it's a poltergeist.) after living with this intermittent foible it has for several months now, last week i had an "ah, ha" moment and stuck the spatula in the second drawer's handle which keeps the third drawer shut........ ta-dah

Thirteen photographs in one day. I wanted to both upload this series serially and in its entirety. In the end, I think it works best taken in all at once.
Two weeks ago I accompanied Dexter and Ashley one evening when they went off to dance. As they were warming up I saw an opportunity to take some very nice photographs (in my opinion) so I ran across campus and grabbed my cameras to shoot these. As far as I know, Dexter and Ashley coreographed this "for fun," but it looked great and was exciting to simultaneously shoot the dance and watch it improve with each runthrough.
The crew was finally able to get this 129 car Argentine to Knoche transfer moving. The pace was slow, but steady. Each of the 3 GPs were online, but turns out the Gevo wasn't. Considering most of this train was loaded and heading uphill, seems like they would have all of the power running. This train would fully pass the pedestrian bridge I was on and stall again before getting completely by Union Station. When the Southwest Chief arrived, it would have to do a reverse exit to BN Junction, get a signal, then switch out to head east. The second stop was very long. Rescue power was sent from Knoche to bring this train in late in the afternoon, towards 5PM.

Construction of the new interchange at Preston Avenue South and Circle Drive began in 2011. This is one of the new temporary signalized intersections as part of the detour around the construction site. More than a year later, the overpass for the interchange is almost complete, but you won't be able to drive on it until the summer of 2013. That upsets me. Here's what it used to look like.
