The one moment of peace I find every day in two slices of toasted bread with locally made coconut jam, and a cup of either milk tea or black coffee. I love this simple moment when I step away from everything, clear my head, and put it all in order. This is how I stay efficient, effective and avoid burning out, by finding some time every day to peel myself away from an interface and either socialize like a normal human being, or just simply daydream without letting the internet do it for me. If you ever see me hanging around at a kopitiam, please don't hesitate join me for a chat and some kopi.
Another of Teh's paintings, leaning on a wall in his studio; this time a toucan. Just look at the intricacy of those loose feathers!
All of the weapons that I will be pack a punching for my map.
Also, I need names for most of them. Once that's over with, this will be re-uploaded.
Inspired by the availability of Twitter's Fail Whale as a T-shirt and Tantek's "Note to Self" comment ( www.flickr.com/photos/factoryjoe/2631644440/#comment72157... ) I made teh Fail Snail, and he's coughing up some "goddamn leaky HTML" hex.
I am releasing this as public domain, anyone may use it as their error message or whatever else you want, including Flickr geo tagging it with Twitter's office address.

A very popular local drink in Malaysia!
It is the tea mixed with a thick syrupy gula Melaka and evaporated milk. A good teh-C should have the aroma of tea and the sweet smelling of gula Melaka!

I feel like the colors are tooooo much but the story behind this place is cool -
This part of town had a state hospital for the insane (or "inebriates" as they called them back then) which was a kirkabride - a famous type of building used for hospitals and asylums. The complex was almost 100% self sufficient which cut costs and made living in winter more easy as it is a bit out of town. The fucked up thing is that they made the patients quarry the land the building was on for stone... some of them even dug sandstone caves to store food in over the years. One of the caves on the site was used to store dead bodies through winter until the ground thawed and they could be buried. Looking at this view at first you think "oooooh pretty!" and then you realize it was basically forced labor done by ppl deemed to be "insane">
