I can't quite make out what it is this crow was working on, but there was obviously some skill and patience involved. I was just able to grab a quick shot while holding Blanca with my left hand. She wanted to chase the crow, and the crow knew it but was reluctant to abandon the prize and waited till the last moment before flying off with it.
Technically, I guess they're hatched to run. Regardless, the greater roadrunner is aptly named. They can run at quite a pace. We've seen them in the deep desert or suburban parks like this one. Their tails and crest seem to be quite dynamic - always raising and lowering. Cool birds.

At the junction of the Airfield Ring [Flughafenring] from the L264 is one of many artifacts that remind us of the military past of the island of Usedom in the Third Reich (and subsequently the GDR): the so-called main guard [Hauptwache], from which it went on to the Army Research Center [Heeresversuchsanstalt] Peenemünde-East as well as to the Air Force Test Establishment [Erprobungsstelle der Luftwaffe] Peenemünde-West.
Especially the Army Research Center is (tragically) known not only as a "cradle of space flight", but also as the place of development of the rocket A4 (better known as retaliatory weapon [Vergeltungswaffe] V2), the archetype of a cruise missile. The development and production were a masterpiece of engineering and science, but were carried out with massive use of concentration camp prisoners and prisoners of war as forced laborers.
After the end of the war, the main guard, like much else, was razed to the ground. The few visible remains are now part of the monument landscape [Museums-Landschaft] of the Peenemünde Historical-Technical Museum [Historisch-Technisches Museum Peenemünde].
Father Christmas put an ND filter in my stocking last year, but as everyone who follows me will know, I'm not technically minded, so I had to google what this was and how to use it.
This was my first attempt, which for me, didn't seem too bad, but I would be very grateful to receive any comments/advice/tips on using an ND filter, as I plan to venture off to the coast again this week and might have another 'play'.
Thanks a lot ... and Happy Easter
Red, vintage 1930 Škoda 154 fire truck stands in the National Technical Museum, Prague, Czech Republic.
Fire fighting automobiles started to replace horse drawn fire engines in the first decade of the 20th century. In 1930, there were already 317 of fire fighting automobiles in Czechoslovakia, most of these produced in this country. Automobile plants, however, as a rule supplied only the chassis of the vehicle, which was then equipped by a specialized firm with fire-fighting facilities and usually also a pump driven by the vehicle's engine. The fire engine on display, which was purchased in 1930 by the Fire Brigade in Náchod — Staré Město nad Metují, was built on the chassis of a Škoda 154 lorry by the V. Ig. Stratílek – Firefighting equipment factory in Vysoké Mýto.

Happy Truck Thursday!
I was experimenting with Technic panels and this little craft appeared. I'm not sure if it's a spaceship or anti-grav flyer.
There are some more views on Instagram. I'm quite proud of fitting the engine into the tail!

Hopefully I'll get into the main 20!
Here is the full body pose for y'all to look at properly:
Hope you like, I particularly like her cable/wire thingy in her back hehe
Ox carts, The Thatbyinnyu Temple (Burmese: သဗ္ဗညု ဘုရား, [θaʔ bjɪ̀ɰ̃ ɲ̥ṵ pʰəjá]; Pali: Sabbannu or "the Omniscient") is a Theravadin Buddhist temple in Bagan (Pagan), Myanmar. The temple is recognized as a monument in the Bagan Archeological Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Completed in 1150–51 during the reign of King Sithu I, the temple reflected the Bagan period's "innovative architectural and artistic creativity" and "an expression of the self-confident Burmese spirit of nationhood."[note 1] At the pinnacle height of 66 m (217 ft), the five-story Thatbyinnyu is known as the tallest temple in Bagan, alongside the tallest stupa in Bagan, the 100 m (328 ft) Shwesandaw.
The temple was badly damaged by the earthquakes of 1975 and 2016. It is undergoing restoration work with Chinese technical and financial assistance; the restoration work is expected to last until about 2028.
Be careful with unknown emails, there could be a virus behind it trying to mess with you!
Phishing is a serious problem that exists to this day and this is a reminder to not click on any link without knowing what it does or where it will take you!

I share today this photograph of my last trip to the south of Portugal. More specifically in Lagos.
I really wanted to get to know this area, so the ten-hour drive and get up early the next morning at 5 am was really worth it, since I was in one of my most dreamed coast locations to explore and the light that there was that dawn was perfect at the time of creating this photograph.
Regarding the technical part, it is a 30 second long exposure using the combination of a four-step Formatt Hitech Filters ND filter and a soft three-step gradient ND.
I hope you like it. And I would love to know in your comments what you think about this location.
Have a nice Wednesday. ;)

well, geographically this shouldn't be in my "Bremerhaven" set. But I re-visited this place while staying there...
Technically, and honestly, these are three sunsets. But I haven't heard a song about three sunsets. So, the title stays.
This is the majestic and mighty Mekong. And my humble spectacles. And rods poking out of the boat I was travelling in.

Still a WIP, but this is my first "Akida" revamp. It all started with a revamp of the Ruki Fish, but I planned on upgrading it with the pieces that came along with Akida.
It still has a function, as you can see you can turn the fin at the top and the tail will go left and right, kinda like what most people expected from Akida's function. The mouth can also open and close.
Although it wasn't my intention, you can technically still unite her with Gali, you just to put in the pins with bars instead of the 3 long pins, but other than that it works fine.
Nun kann man der letzten Woche nur noch nachsehen, wie auch gestern als 99 1772-5 kurz vor dem Bahnhof durch den verschneiten Ort schnaufte.
Euch allen einen guten Start in die neue Woche!
Just a quick post to say hello, hope you all have a lovely week ahead, I'm so far behind but will catch up as always eventually :) xoooox
Is anyone else having technical problems with flickr?
