My nieces' school wanted Year 6 pupils to do a mosaic for entrance to the school to present as their leaving present when they left to start new schools. My design, using a mix of vitreous glass, gloss and matt ceramic tiles. 3D element with the lettering and pupils standing proud.
Teamwork is a joint action by two or more people, in which each person contributes with different skills and express his or her individual interests and opinions to the unity and efficiency of the group in order to achieve common goals.

Homeowner Ed Bond and his son Liam joined the Peacemaker Treehouses team for the morning on Thursday, lending their magic touch to the ship's rigging. Ed, a veteran scout, knows his knots; and the final product will bear his signature in everything from bow lines to rope ladders. Liam, a good-hearted joy to have around, just reminds us why we're all working so hard.

Lodhie Foundation sets up Basketball at Chhor Boys High School in Umerkot District of Sindh Province in Pakistan on Jan29, 2014
The Basketball system was built, installed and game initiated by the fine team of Shaantech KEPZ Karachi in collaboration with students, teachers, staff of the Chhor Boys school. This team game initiative is part of our poverty alleviation and human development work being introduced in many unprivilaged rural areas and villages of Sindh as a start.
Team sports are equally as important as education in developing world class citizens.
Why I picked Basketball Halfcourt to Sindh villages and now schools. 1) All ages have fun playing it 2) Can be set up in any small area of village, home, school or factory 3) Very low cost set up and material 4) Very easy to learn to play 5) Teaches teamwork to win 6) Teaches you to stay focused, be unselfish 7) Gives very healthy exercise 8) Length of game only 1 hour or less 9) Encourages and allows participation of family, friends, teachers

Penny Gallery fundraiser
This year, as part of their ongoing efforts to raise funds to support full-day Kindergarten, Kingsway Mall is hosting a fundraiser to honour the memory of the penny. From March 15 to April 5 at Kingsway Mall, the Penny Gallery will showcase art installations made by Grades 5/6 student artists from Mount Royal School. Pennies are already rolling in! Students at the three schools receiving funding from the Foundation for their full-day programs − Lauderdale, Mee-Yah-Noh and Tipaskan − have already initiated penny collection campaigns.

These photos were offered by L Cpl William Grey, helicopter mechanic in the US Marine Corps. Will has been a Zen student since 1999. He continues his studies with Genpo Roshi by e-mail, both koan study and dokusan, during his last deployment in 2006, and is set to deploy to Iraq again in October 2007 to April 2008.
Working a seven day or seven night , 12 hour shift in accommodation you can glimpse in this photoset, with a day off to do his laundry, Will has little opportunity to practice zazen. His practice is a total commitment to his task, on which the lives of others depend – being completely present and proficient in the tedium and when the mortar bombs fall.
Fully involved in the normal comradeship of his unit, Will’s Zen is known and respected by his friends.
