Old Order Amish farm with horses and usually shun modern technology such as telephones in the home, electrical equipment or even bicycles. They use kerosene lamps for light, steel wheels on farm equipment, and milk by hand. Taken in Amish Country, Holmes County, Ohio.

The job of this team is to clean the clocks in this metro station. Every team member has a specific task.
First the girl with the feather duster (right) does the dusting, then the guy with the damp cloth wipes the clock. The strong looking guy (left) holds the ladder. And finally the girl with the file in her hand does all the paperworks.
And not to mention battalions of cleaning staff who are constantly on watch to fight every sort of dirt. I swear, the floors are so clean that you could eat off them!
I wonder how many Mainlanders does it take to change a light bulb...

My nieces' school wanted Year 6 pupils to do a mosaic for entrance to the school to present as their leaving present when they left to start new schools. My design, using a mix of vitreous glass, gloss and matt ceramic tiles. 3D element with the lettering and pupils standing proud.
