The EF-S 17-55 / 2.8 is certainly not the best solution for such pictures, but every now and then there is a good picture!

Southern Pacific and Rio Grande locomotives pull a 106-car ROGJM through the Red Narrows of Spanish Fork Canyon on Oct. 30, 1994. A pair of SP tunnel motors were shoving on the rear of the train. Southern Pacific's small fleet of 25 SD70Ms were rare visitors on the D&RGW in Utah and Colorado.
Sometimes, a couple of squirts of WD-40 just aren't enough to break something loose. That's when you need a bud to step in and lend a hand.

Frauen in der Graffitiszene
Die Graffitiszene (in Berlin) war und ist immer noch sehr männerdominiert. Aktivistinnen nutzen daher den Weltfrauentag, um Frauen in der Szene zu stärken: Anlässlich des Internationalen Frauentages ist die große Mauer der Alten Feuerwache in Berlin-Kreuzberg am Wochenende als Graffitileinwand nur für Künstlerinnen reserviert. The graffiti scene (in Berlin) was and still is very male-dominated. Activists are therefore using International Women's Day to empower women in the scene: To mark International Women's Day, the large wall of the old fire station in Berlin-Kreuzberg will be reserved as a graffiti canvas exclusively for female artists this weekend.
