(Day 339 / 365)

Staff from the University of California, Santa Barbara Zoo, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service came together to celebrate the successful rehabilitation and release of federally threatened Western snowy plover chicks to the wild at Coal Oil Point Reserve in Santa Barbara, California. This is my edited photo. I softened the color a little and cropped part of the desk out in front of the children. I also tilted the photo a little just playing with the picture.

At the second camp we participated in a team-building exercise.

If I remember correctly, this entailed all of us clinging together on a series of wooden circles constituting a bridge. Each of us had some disability (no eyes, can't walk, etc).

It was up the team to move the wooden circles along (with us standing on them at the time) to get from one side of an imaginary stream to the other.

Cheltenham's Mayor, Mrs Barbara Driver, about to cut the ribbon to open the Community Bridge across the lower lake in Pittville Park. Adam Reynolds on the left is responsible for all Cheltenham's parks. The children, who contributed designs for the bridge decoration, are from nearby Dunalley School.

A large audience of local residents gathered for this long-awaited event.
