I have been tagged by www.flickr.com/photos/erinnoelg/. 10 things about me...
To my very great shame I was tagged back in February by my great friend Kim; but I wasn't feeling in the mood to share and did nothing about it. Here I am, 6 months down the track and still not exactly keen to divulge - but I have a strong, hard shell and more layers than most onions (are you reading Tracy?). So here goes one layer -
1. I take great pleasure in drive by commenting on flickr. If I am feeling good, it is nice to share. If I am feeling absolutely rotten, or I don't really connect with the image, I still try to find nice things to say. It gives me a little lift - a little buzz.
2. I love sailing. The thrill of harnessing one of the four elements just floats my boat :) One day I hope to sail in a square-rigged ship - although I am getting somewhat old for that, so I better get my skates on.
2a. I have only been sea sick once - I now hate anything to do with weetbix.
3. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. I thrive on learning. I especially thrive on rediscovering forgotten things anew.
4. I do not make new friends easily. Worse, I have a bad habit of neglecting old friends. Consequently, I spend quite a lot of time alone - but not lonely, if that makes sense.
5. I love dogs. All dogs. There is something about their eyes. Every time I pass a dog on the street I will smile at it, not the owner.
6. I used to pretend to be an archaeologist when I was a kid. I am fascinated by history. I love the detective work and puzzle solving required to decode even relatively recent history. I am amazed at just how much, and how quickly, we collectively forget and re-learn over the generations.
7. I am slightly obsessive compulsive with coins. If I have a bunch of change in my hand, more often than not I will sort it into date and size order.
8. I love Shakespeare and Marlowe. I like the villainous villains and the heroic heroes. And that the chicks often disguise themselves as men and no one is the wiser.
9. I am happiest when it is cold.
10. I am learning Arabic. It is doing my head in - I find that I am writing English backwards sometimes.

Sobre dolls da família Groove, liste os que...

1. Não compraria nunca
Taeyangs e dolls muito caras (tipo as super raras)
2. Pensa em comprar a tempos, mas por algum motivo não comprou até hoje.
Isul Duke. Sou apaixonada desde o lançamento, mas ainda não tenho.
Falta só money pra isso.
3. Que você comprou no impulso, sem planejar nada ou quase nada.
Eu diria que foi a Ame. Mas nem tanto assim.
É que meu sonho sempre foi a Souseiseki, foi a primeira doll que vi e amor a primeira vista.
Porém o tipo 3, cabelo e mancha na testa me levaram a Ame. E se tivesse adquirido só a Misako primeiro, não teria minhas 3 amadas meninas hoje e a vontade de adquirir o Duke porque (provavelmente) me sentiria feliz com meu sonho logo de cara.
4. Que você nunca pensou que fosse comprar quando foi lançado, mas acabou comprando.
Nunca aconteceu e provavelmente nem vai XD
5. Que você pensava que fosse comprar quando foi lançado, mas desistiu após ver fotos de donos.
Essa é difícil... A Miku Snow, Meiko, Alice Pink (é linda mas não me chama tanto atenção mais), Nella (principalmente, sonhava com lançamento da Baby há tempos), Joujou, Len e Secomi
Agora, um rápido questionário!
a)Você gosta de obitsus?

b) Você compra o doll por causa dele como um todo (face up + outfit + wig) ou dá mais importância ao rosto e compra por causa do face-up?
Agora aprendi a levar o face up como prioridade. A Ame pe difícil de fotografar e acabou não combinando com a idéia que tinha pra ela por causa da make. A Misako já é bem melhor nesse ponto. Depois as roupas e peruca entram em equilíbrio na escolha. Por exemplo, eu que quebrei a cara na escolha da roupa porque queria muito a doll em cima. Isso não vem me ajudando. E queria a wig da Misako e Ame levei em conta por ter boa qualidade.
c) Você acha que a sua escolha de hora de comprar algum doll é influenciada pela opinião de outras pessoas?
Não. A Ame como foi a primeira pesquisei bem para saber como a doll era em termos de problemas a vir. Depois já aprendi a me virar pra escolher.
d) Neste hobby, para você é mais divertida/interessante a parte de customizar dos dolls, de tirar as fotos, de comprar os bonecos ou de colecionar os dolls?
Deixar elas do jeitinho que queremos é o máximo e depois tirar fotos delas.
e) Você sempre acaba customizando seus dolls (nem que seja apenas no sentido de trocar o corpo e a wig)?
Depende. O que falta é money. A Misako só quero trocar o corpo e Ame uma wig ruiva.
f) Gosta mais de wigs lisas, cacheadas, fur, ou mohair?
Lisas, com certeza. Embora cacheado seja lindo dá trabalho, e algumas wig fur sejam legais também.

1. My nickname for many years has been Spud
2. I read a heck of a lot - around 5 or 6 books on the go at a time
3. I love to have goose bumps from being scared hence I love horror films
4. I love to be outside and fortunately have access to some of the best countryside that England has to offer just a car ride away
5. I am head over heels in love
6. I once took a cow for a walk into a city centre then put it in a lift. It didn’t survive but I was very drunk and it was funny
7. I once lived in London but would never go back there to live again
8. I have a scar on the back of my head from when I was little and went down a small ramp in a barrel
9. I played hockey a lot when was younger and played for the South Yorkshire Police side when I was around 16 years old and didn’t work for them
10. I used to be allergic to cocoa powder. I wish I still was I might not eat as many chocolates!
