I have been tagged by www.flickr.com/photos/erinnoelg/. 10 things about me...
To my very great shame I was tagged back in February by my great friend Kim; but I wasn't feeling in the mood to share and did nothing about it. Here I am, 6 months down the track and still not exactly keen to divulge - but I have a strong, hard shell and more layers than most onions (are you reading Tracy?). So here goes one layer -
1. I take great pleasure in drive by commenting on flickr. If I am feeling good, it is nice to share. If I am feeling absolutely rotten, or I don't really connect with the image, I still try to find nice things to say. It gives me a little lift - a little buzz.
2. I love sailing. The thrill of harnessing one of the four elements just floats my boat :) One day I hope to sail in a square-rigged ship - although I am getting somewhat old for that, so I better get my skates on.
2a. I have only been sea sick once - I now hate anything to do with weetbix.
3. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. I thrive on learning. I especially thrive on rediscovering forgotten things anew.
4. I do not make new friends easily. Worse, I have a bad habit of neglecting old friends. Consequently, I spend quite a lot of time alone - but not lonely, if that makes sense.
5. I love dogs. All dogs. There is something about their eyes. Every time I pass a dog on the street I will smile at it, not the owner.
6. I used to pretend to be an archaeologist when I was a kid. I am fascinated by history. I love the detective work and puzzle solving required to decode even relatively recent history. I am amazed at just how much, and how quickly, we collectively forget and re-learn over the generations.
7. I am slightly obsessive compulsive with coins. If I have a bunch of change in my hand, more often than not I will sort it into date and size order.
8. I love Shakespeare and Marlowe. I like the villainous villains and the heroic heroes. And that the chicks often disguise themselves as men and no one is the wiser.
9. I am happiest when it is cold.
10. I am learning Arabic. It is doing my head in - I find that I am writing English backwards sometimes.

1. Não compraria nunca
Taeyangs e dolls muito caras (tipo as super raras)
2. Pensa em comprar a tempos, mas por algum motivo não comprou até hoje.
Isul Duke. Sou apaixonada desde o lançamento, mas ainda não tenho.
Falta só money pra isso.
3. Que você comprou no impulso, sem planejar nada ou quase nada.
Eu diria que foi a Ame. Mas nem tanto assim.
É que meu sonho sempre foi a Souseiseki, foi a primeira doll que vi e amor a primeira vista.
Porém o tipo 3, cabelo e mancha na testa me levaram a Ame. E se tivesse adquirido só a Misako primeiro, não teria minhas 3 amadas meninas hoje e a vontade de adquirir o Duke porque (provavelmente) me sentiria feliz com meu sonho logo de cara.
4. Que você nunca pensou que fosse comprar quando foi lançado, mas acabou comprando.
Nunca aconteceu e provavelmente nem vai XD
5. Que você pensava que fosse comprar quando foi lançado, mas desistiu após ver fotos de donos.
Essa é difícil... A Miku Snow, Meiko, Alice Pink (é linda mas não me chama tanto atenção mais), Nella (principalmente, sonhava com lançamento da Baby há tempos), Joujou, Len e Secomi

b) Você compra o doll por causa dele como um todo (face up + outfit + wig) ou dá mais importância ao rosto e compra por causa do face-up?
Agora aprendi a levar o face up como prioridade. A Ame pe difícil de fotografar e acabou não combinando com a idéia que tinha pra ela por causa da make. A Misako já é bem melhor nesse ponto. Depois as roupas e peruca entram em equilíbrio na escolha. Por exemplo, eu que quebrei a cara na escolha da roupa porque queria muito a doll em cima. Isso não vem me ajudando. E queria a wig da Misako e Ame levei em conta por ter boa qualidade.
c) Você acha que a sua escolha de hora de comprar algum doll é influenciada pela opinião de outras pessoas?
Não. A Ame como foi a primeira pesquisei bem para saber como a doll era em termos de problemas a vir. Depois já aprendi a me virar pra escolher.
d) Neste hobby, para você é mais divertida/interessante a parte de customizar dos dolls, de tirar as fotos, de comprar os bonecos ou de colecionar os dolls?
Deixar elas do jeitinho que queremos é o máximo e depois tirar fotos delas.
e) Você sempre acaba customizando seus dolls (nem que seja apenas no sentido de trocar o corpo e a wig)?
Depende. O que falta é money. A Misako só quero trocar o corpo e Ame uma wig ruiva.
f) Gosta mais de wigs lisas, cacheadas, fur, ou mohair?
Lisas, com certeza. Embora cacheado seja lindo dá trabalho, e algumas wig fur sejam legais também.

So here are my super belated BJD Confessions. Thanks so much to Shawnah and Turbow for tagging me!
1. I've been collecting dolls for just over two years now and I have about 40...so I'm thinking about how to limit myself now. Probably from now on I will just buy from Soom, iplehouse, and Volks, which really is bad enough! I think I'll be barring myself from certain sizes though. The Soom fairies, for example, as well as their tinies.
2. Soom Little Gems are possibly my favorite dolls. They're the ones I like playing with the most! The size is perfect for me and I think they best show off the Soom aesthetic without getting same-y like the bigger and smaller sizes tend to do.
3. Yosds are also like crack for me. Definitely I take them out the most for photos--they're just so convenient and really cute.
4. Conversely, SD is my least favorite size. They're beautiful and all but a challenge to take out and photograph. Also it hurts the most when I'm disappointed by an SD because their layaway tends to cost so much every month. If I'm dissatisfied with one of my dolls it's likely to be an SD.
5. I don't like selling my dolls very much, but sometimes when someone isn't fitting I just have to make myself do it. I haven't sold many dolls. The exception is my Volks Lorina...I love that doll, and actually got her for other people twice before winning my own in the lottery. But by then I'd had so many negative experiences surrounding her that I couldn't keep her. But now looking at Turbow's lovely Elyse I think I want another Lorina someday! She's sooo pretty<333
6. I have lots of dolls but not many clothes for them. One of my goals this year is to buy clothes more than dolls! Though I will buy Soom Little Gems, and I know better than to think I'll get by without at least 1 or 2 yo's added to my collection :)
7. I really, really want to learn how to sew for my dolls but I spend all of my time practicing faceups. Either I'm putting them on a new doll or I'm wiping one of my old faceups that I'm dissatisfied with. I think I'll be doing faceups forever! I did buy a sewing machine and start learning, but it broke after several weeks :/
8. All of my dolls are based on characters that are nebulous in their own right. I know to an extent who they are, but then the dolls kind of tell me who they are as well. It's a really fun process! Also, all of my dolls are related one way or the other.
9. I have two big hobbies--dolls and Transformers! Someday I want some of my dolls to be humanized transformers. To some extent I think of Greystar as my Shattered Glass Starscream, though I'm prolly the only one that knows what that means ^_- I'd also like a humanized MLP Applejack someday if I ever find the right sculpt.
10. I've made great friends through this hobby and it's made my life in Japan so much more fun! I've got a pretty stressful job so it's nice to be able to have the dolls to help me relax and friends that I can go out with who help me get away from it all. This is the best hobby I've ever had and I don't ever see myself leaving it :)

A while ago I was tagged by the lovely Twiggs. I've been meaning to do this but kept forgetting. So better late than never I guess? I am supposed to do a list of 10 things, nine of which are the absolute truth and one which is a dirty lie. Can you spot the lie? ;)
1. I am an only child.
2. I am extremely clumsy. Hilariously so at times.
3. I hate driving with the intensity of a thousand burning suns. Yet I do it every day.
4. I lived in a very rural area near the Venezuelan Amazon, for many years. And it was amazing.
5. I love math. It was always my strongest subject in school. I even do math now, just for fun (geeky much?)
6. I used to smoke, and I still miss it sometimes.
7. I love disco and 80s music. The good, the bad and the ugly (don't judge!)
8. I love movie quotes and I use them on a regular basis.
9. Even though I swore I would never get married young, I did (best. decision. ever)

Hace tiempo que la linda Twiggs me Taggeo (asi se diria? suena horrible) y hasta ahora no habia podido hacerlo. Mas vale tarde que nunca no? Debo hacer una lista de 10 cosas, 9 verdades absolutas y 1 mentira. Sera que adivinan cual es la mentira?
1. Soy hija unica.
2. Soy extremadamente torpe. Me caigo y me pego con todo. Toda una comedia.
3. Odio manejar, con pasion y frenesi. Pero lo hago todos los dias.
4. Por varios años vivi en una parte muy rural de Venezuela, muy cerca de el Amazonas. Fue increible.
5. Me encanta la matematica. Siempre fue mi mejor materia en la escuela y ahora la practico solo por placer (que galla!/geeky!)
6. Fume por un tiempo. Aveces lo extraño.
7. Me gusta la musica disco y la de los 80s. La buena, la mala y la fea. (no juzguen!)

2. I read a heck of a lot - around 5 or 6 books on the go at a time
3. I love to have goose bumps from being scared hence I love horror films
4. I love to be outside and fortunately have access to some of the best countryside that England has to offer just a car ride away
5. I am head over heels in love
6. I once took a cow for a walk into a city centre then put it in a lift. It didn’t survive but I was very drunk and it was funny
7. I once lived in London but would never go back there to live again
8. I have a scar on the back of my head from when I was little and went down a small ramp in a barrel
9. I played hockey a lot when was younger and played for the South Yorkshire Police side when I was around 16 years old and didn’t work for them

16. I once lost a snake in a flat when trying to get it to catch a mouse. Never saw it again and soon had to move out of the flat as I couldn’t sleep there anymore

My handwriting is so big I could not do this on my really cute stationary so I had to use a legal pad! I tagged 7 in case someone did not want to do it or already has.
This is not the first time I've been tagged... I'll try to come up with ten more random facts but can't guarantee any interestingness about them :oP. For the first 16 refer to this 365 shot
1) My first venture into photography was when I was 16 years old. I got a 35mm Yashica and fell in love. This lasted until the camera was stolen in Baltimore on my honeymoon... that's another story.
2) I got back into photography again, many moons later, just this past year. I use a delightful Sony a100 that was given to me for my birthday by the hubs <3 I will continue to use it until I know everything about how to use it... or it breaks. I'm a loooong way from the former and hopefully latter will never happen.
3) The picture above was taken early this year, when I was just beginning to get back into photography. I re-edited it today... I'm finding that I often like giving my photos a painted look.
4) I like change. I love moving and living somewhere totally new to me.
5) I LIKE CANDY!! All of it.
6) I am a tomboy. To the hilt. I love bugs, sports, creatures of all kinds, outdoor activities, etc. I hate shopping, and break out into a cold sweat if I'm in a group of women.
7) I love communicating this way... I just can't ever put things into words properly when I'm talking. I get tongue tied and feel stupid.
8) I have a very strange combination of interests and abilities. I play several instruments, love to draw (pencil mostly), love to read.... on the other hand, I love science, have a degree in medicine, love logic problems, and am intensely analytical.
Results of personality test always confirm this split personality idea. I'm a Meyers-Briggs INTJ, my Enneagram is 5 with a 4 wing.

Nunca fiz esses lances de tag mas me empolguei, minhas férias acabando e eu sem poder colocar foto das minhas unhas no Flickr (voltei a roer unhas! =/) tinha que atualizar as coisas de algum jeito aqui né!
Eu tinha que escrever dez coisas aleatórias sobre mim.

1. Tenho vontade de fazer uma tatoo de borboleta azul e verde no ombro direito mas sei que nunca terei coragem. Tipo a da foto, que é muito linda.
2. Já fui fã aluscinada pelo Felipe Dylon... ai ai, essa minha pré-adolescência! Recentemente ele foi relançar a sua carreira no Canecão e é claro que eu tive que ir no show relembrar minha época de novinha... hahaha Foi muito divertido mas nem bombou muito.
3. Sou apaixonada por tudo comestível que tenha menta! Mas não confundam com hortelã... é diferente! rs Sorvete e picolé de chocolate com menta, chocolate com creminho de menta, bolo e torta de chocomenta, balas, docinhos, chá de menta e etc... tudo tudo tudo com menta!!! hummm
4. Fui assitir a Copa na Arena Fifa Fan Fest e me diverti com o show do Monobloco. Pena que a Copa acabou e a gente perdeu... eu chorei! =/ Mas na próxima a gente ganha! E vamos assistir à nossa final aqui no Maracanã!
5. Sou super hiper ultra mega power apaixonada por Química!!! Isso mesmo, vcs leram certo: Q-U-Í-M-I-C-A!!! Quero fazer graduação em Farmácia por isso faço pré vestibular! uhuul hahaha
6. Quero colocar piercing no nariz! Lado direito tbm... acho maaara! Essa foto é da Dulce Maria com o seu piercing charmoso! Esse eu faço no fim do ano! Já a tatoo fica pra um dia que eu surtar... kkkkk
7. Eu era louca pelo RBD e pra completar pela novela Rebelde tbm! hahaha Minha preferida era a Dulce.. hahaha na época queria até pintar o cabelo de vermelho pra ficar igual a ela! Riam, eu deixo! kkkkk
8. Já fui em baile funk! Lá no Salgueiro! Salgueiro é o caldeirão!!! kkkkkk Foi legal, dacei pacas com a Furacão!
9.Gosto muito de Lost, mas nem terminei de ver as temporadas... Assim que vi a 1ª temporada fiquei doidinha pelo Saiyd! Ele é o mais gato de Lost, FATO! Tá, sou louca por morenos! rs
10. Pra completar queimei a batata frita no forno (sim, no forno, para evitar a gordura da fritura) enquanto fazia a minha unha há um tempo, aí tive que tirar a foto! Me entreiti tanto com minhas unhas (como sempre) que as batatas viraram carvão!

A pear shaped doll is an 'idea' and you cannot copyright an idea, no matter what anyone is arguing.
From the WIPO themselves on the matter -
"Copyright protection extends only to expressions, and not to ideas, procedures, methods of operation or mathematical concepts as such."
This applies to France, Korea, and the rest of the world. You cannot copyright the idea or concept of a doll who is pear shaped, even if someone has pictures of your doll around their shop, using it as inspiration for their own project.
That is the begining and end of the argument there the Pun/Mikhaila is concerned. As it isn't a legal issue as is clearly defended above by the letter of the law itself, this is a personal issue between DoD's imagined 'offense' and Leeke's refusal to back down when legally they've done nothing wrong.

so i just got tagged and i realized i've been tagged a lot...so i guess it's time to catch up! i miss doing these facts anyways :]
10 awesomorific facts:
1. thanks to jocelyn for the cool goggle straw! (she was my secret santa on the tennis team)
2. this was taken at our tennis banquet
3. this was the most emotional banquet i've been to...almost all the seniors cried.
4. in my cup? diluted orange juice...
5. each person had to pay 12 dollars for the food....
6. lets just say...it wasn't worth it.
7. i won the Coach's award, which is the awards you for being a great leader and player
8. i was jv captain this year and had to manage more than 10 freshmen (which makes up way more than half of the jv team)
9. i love them all like they're my sisters
10. wow i'm going to miss tennis so much.

1 ~ La photo que j'ai choisie date de noël dernier. Si ça vous intéresse, je peux vous dire que les bigoudis n'ont finalement servis à rien, j'ai souffert inutilement ;__;
2 ~ D'ailleurs mes cheveux sont orange maintenant, plus rouge, publicité mensongère ! è__é
3 ~ La semaine dernière, j'ai acheté un pantalon de mon plein gré pour la première fois depuis au moins 7 ans. L'appel du jaune flashy est trop fort !
4 ~ En parlant de flashy, j'adore les vernis à ongle avec des couleurs qui agressent les yeux. Je ne supporte d'avoir les ongles nus ^^;
5 ~ Je suis une toute récente addict à Glee ! Je pense que mes proches ne supportent plus d'en entendre parler.
6 ~ Je suis également fan de skins, en particulier la génération 2 (Naomily ! <3) malgré...
7 ~ ...Que je ne sois absolument pas intéressée par l'alcool ou les soirées lycéennes/estudiantines. A cause de ça j'ai parfois eu du mal à m'intégrer dans mes classes, mais ça m'a toujours permis de trouver de très bons amis qui partageaient mon avis !
8 ~ Je suis au chômage depuis un an maintenant et ça me pèse vraiment. Je suis en train de me transformer en ours !
9 ~ J'ai tendance à déprimer facilement (j'ai une théorie passionnante à propos de balance pour ça d'ailleurs :D). La moindre petite chose ridicule peut me rendre apathique (La neige par exemple.).
10 ~ J'ai l'impression de m'éloigner du monde des pullips et ça me rend triste parce que c'est un univers qui m'a apporté énormément, en particulier de très bonnes amies. ^^
11 ~ En revanche, je veux de plus en plus de momokos et mon porte monnaie n'est pas d'accord !
12 ~ J'ai une phobie du fromage assez envahissante et qui évolue de plus en plus. En ce moment je réfléchis à la possibilité de m'acheter des couverts personnels pour être sure qu'ils ne soient pas touchés, mais j'ai peur d'avoir du mal à faire avaler cette idée à mes parents !
13 ~ J'ai un chat dont je suis littéralement folle. Penser à lui suffit à me donner le sourire, par contre j'angoisse dès qu'il met une de ses (adorables) pattes dehors.
14 ~ J'adore écrire, mes textes maturent toujours des mois dans ma tête avant d'être retranscris dans l'ordinateur. D'ailleurs en règle générale, je relis toujours plusieurs fois ce que j'écris, sms, messages sur internet, petits mots...
15 ~ Quand je n'arrive pas à dormir, je me répète d'ailleurs des bribes de l'histoire de Garance et Elorri (mes BJDs) jusqu'à m'effondrer.
16 ~ Je serais incapable de ma passer d'internet, j'y ai trop d'attaches !
17 ~ La dernière fois que je suis tombée amoureuse c'était il y a pile deux ans. Je suis encore nostalgique à ce propos ^^
18 ~ Quand je m'ennuie beaucoup beaucoup j'aime bien compter les grains de beauté sur mes bras, et je ne trouve jamais le même nombre ! Je peux donc dire que j'en ai entre 35 et 40 ^^;
On me donne toujours moins que mon âge (j'ai 20 ans) et ça me rend folle ! Ce matin encore la vendeuse à qui j'ai demandé Fluide G. m'a demandé si c'était un magazine pour ados. Elle a du se rendre compte que non quand elle est allée le chercher dans le rayon porno u___u'
