I was walking along the path that runs just behind the broken box. The trail clings to the cliff’s edge above the Deschutes River. I’d followed it out to the canyon rim, hoping for a view.

On the way back, I noticed the box — tagged, weathered, split open. I liked the way it looked and snapped a photo.

It wasn’t until I looked at the picture later, at home, that I noticed the electric outlet inside the broken box. That’s when I realized why someone had been so interested in breaking it open.

E 1301 fuhr am 01.11.2018 mit dem an diesem Tag - und irgendwie für Marokko typischen - 90 Minuten verspäteten train grande ligne 359 Tanger - Casablanca Voyageurs durch die Hügel hinter Arbaoua. Hier auf einem der wenigen Kunstbauten dieser Strecke. In wie weit sich der Verkehr im Rahmen der in Kürze in Betrieb gehenden parallel verlaufenden für 350 km/h ausgelegten Hochgeschwindigkeitsstrecke verändert ist nicht bekannt.

E 1301 drove on 01.11.2018 with the 90 minutes late train grande ligne 359 Tanger - Casablanca Voyageurs through the hills behind Arbaoua. Here on one of the few bridges of this route. It is not known how far the traffic will change in the context of the parallel high-speed line, which will soon go into operation and is designed for a speed of 350 km/h.

1.I live in N. Georgia, USA with my husband of 28 years whom I still like/love! Our house is in the woods in the middle of 16 acres with the Etowah River on our border.

Antes de tudo, é bom avisar que eles não estavam juntos quando eu pedi pra falarem. Eu sabia que eles não diriam isso na cara do outro, então essa foi a solução que eu encontrei. O problema é que eles falaram quase a mesma coisa .-. Espero que consigam entender, acho que ficou um pouquinho confuso.

E: Eu me lembro bem da primeira vez que a vi. Foi no meio do campo, de madrugada...

H: Eu tinha ouvido ruídos vindos do campo, e fui ver o que era. E lá estava ele. Ele me disse que era príncipe de Oostern, e que estava fugindo. Me pediu para guardar segredo sobre isso ^^

H: Ah... Eu gosto muito de estar com ele. O seu olhar me dá confiança, a sua presença me conforta, e o jeito que ele fala comigo...

E: Eu quero estar com ela o tempo todo. E mesmo morando na mesma casa, sinto que isso não é suficiente.

H: Ele era bem popular no internato em que estudamos. Muitas garotas gostavam dele, mas ele ficava a maior parte do tempo comigo. Era como se fôssemos só nós dois ali.

E: Eu sempre estava com ela no colégio. Na verdade, eu não queria que ela ficasse com mais ninguém além de mim.

E: No último dia em que nos falamos, eu fiz a maior idiotice da minha vida. Dias antes, meu primo veio falar comigo, porque eu teria que voltar a Oostern e ser rei, para conduzir uma guerra contra um outro país. Eu... eu disse para ela me esquecer, que eu já não queria mais nada com ela. Disse que iria embora e não voltaria. Até rasguei uma foto nossa.

Foi muito difícil, mas eu tive que fazer aquilo. Eu poderia morrer na guerra, e não queria que ela ficasse esperando por mim, e sofresse.

H: Aquele dia em que ele me deixou... Foi o pior dia da minha vida. Quando ele disse aquilo, eu fiquei em pedaços. Queria entender porque ele fez aquilo comigo, depois de tudo. Eu não sabia se estava furiosa com ele, ou se estava mais magoada. Fiquei tão confusa... Senti como se tivesse perdido tudo.

H: Eu ainda o amo muito.

E: Eu ainda a amo. E ela nunca vai me perdoar pelo que eu fiz.

H: Ele provavelmente não me ama.

EN: On September 21st 2024 the "Tag der Schiene" ("railway day") was held all over germany by various railways, currenct as well as historic. One of those participating was the Schwarzenberg rail museum (VSE), which brought in some guest trains. One of these was a czech class M131 (later class 801) "Hurvínek" unit from Loko-motiv Chomotuv, Depot Křimov. The diesel unit M131.1513 drove by itself to the czech border station Vejprty, where it was picked up by former czech loco T435.0554, which is now being operated by german Railsystems RP. Thats because the M131 is not permitted to run alone on german rails. In Markersbach this quite rare train composition crossed one of the many bridges as DbZ 95951 from Křimov to Schwarzenberg (Erzgeb).

DE: Am 21. September 2024 fand in ganz Deutschland bei verschiedensten Eisenbahnen der Tag der Schiene statt. Daran nahm auch das Schwarzenberger Eisenbahnmuseum (der Verein sächsischer Eisenbahnfreunde, kurz VSE) teil, der einige Gastfahrzeuge begrüßen konnte. Eines davon war ein Triebwagen der tschechischen Baureihe M131 (später 801) von Loko-motiv Chomutov Depot Křimov/Krima. M131.1513 mit Spitznamen "Hurvínek" fuhr alleine von Křimov/Krima bis zum tschechischen Grenzbahnhof Vejprty/Weipert und wurde dort von T435.0554 abgeholt. Diese Lok stammt ebenfalls aus Tschechien, gehört aber aktuell Railsystems RP aus Gotha. Notwendig war das, da die Triebwagen der Baureihe M131 nicht in Deutschland zugelassen sind. Die seltene Fuhre machte sich dann auf den Weg nach Schwarzenberg und überquert hier eine der vielen Eisenbahnbrücken in Markersbach als DbZ 95951 Křimov - Schwarzenberg (Erzgeb).
