I'm going to follow the celebrity theme on this one... Way back in college I spent a year studying abroad in New Zealand. I had the opportunity to take a field trip and do some outdoor stuff like rock climbing and hiking. So we go climbing one day and we have to get all sorts of permissions from a film crew because we wanted to climb right next to where they are filming. They give us the okay, as long as we are quiet. So we are hiking up to the rock wall and it turns out they are filming The Lord of the Rings! Being a big fan of the books I was pretty excited we would be so close to the filming. So as we are climbing, we are watching "Sam" and "Frodo" do scenes. At the time I had no idea they were the main characters! They walked right past me, and I could have said something or done something right then to meet them, but I didn't know who they were! When the movies came out I wanted to kick myself for not jumping on the opportunity.

9. How did you get into Blythe?
I was doing a post graduation course in the UK and used to subscribe to a magazine called Luerzers Archive, which is all about advertising. Then I saw the Sony ad with a Kenner and fell in love with that doll.
A few months later I saw an articles about Blythes on Vogue magazine. Went to ebay and bought Zoe, a Rouge Noir, my first Blythe (she had just been released - see how old this is - and she is still with me).
The rest is history! :)
10. What do you collect other than Blythe?
BJDs, Pullips, Momokos, Una, WTG, Dunnys, Bearbricks, Momijis, Pinkys, pretty much anything cute and toy related.
Oh, I collect cameras as well, especially toy-film ones.

1.I heard a ghost once a few years back (my dead neighbour calling for her cat) and now I believe in the afterlife.
2.My favourite type of movie is a kung fu movie. I have shelves full of them. My favourite types are historical comedies by the Shaw Bros usually with some mistaken identity and shenanigans going on. I dislike the epic tragedy type.
3.I once wrote a historical romance (regency period) – yes it was rubbish! My ambition is to write and finish a murder-mystery novel. I can’t get past chapter seven…
4.I love to dance and as an adult have done classes in salsa, modern theatre and burlesque.
5.I love doing evening classes and have done subjects as diverse as mandarin (3 yrs) to woodwork to website building. They never carry on for long enough!
6.My favourite type of TV night is watching Korean dramas with my sis. Favourites include, My Name is Kim Sam-Soon, Full House and Coffee Prince. Fighteem!
7.I’ve been a vegetarian since I was fifteen so that is now over half my life (.. see ma, it wasn’t a fad!) My favourite type of food is Chinese or Thai.
8.People who don’t know me think I’m shy and a bookworm. People who do know me think I’m nuts! A couple of my best friends went to see Dodgeball and when the guy goes back to the girl’s apartment and it’s full of unicorns they turned to each other and went ‘that’s Sal!’ (meaning dolls of course, not unicorns…)
9.I love fairytales or folk-stories from all around the world and have groaning bookshelves full. My ambition as a child was to write them (and become a detective!) I did write a collection called ‘All the Kings Daughters’ which I’m still pretty proud of.

I went for an intercity hike today from Suede Hollow to the (Bruce Vento) Bird Sanctuary and back home through Lowertown. The Sanctuary is an amazing little place; it has 6 ecosystems, caves and its own bluff restoration project. We've had an unbelievably wet spring, so the images haven't very high contrast, but you get the idea.
On my way home, I went down 4th Street, which is an often smelly (thanks to the Mississippi river run off) little back road that isn't used by many. It has surprisingly old limestone retaining walls and railroad tracks (still in use). Eventually, when you're at the very edge of Lowertown, industrial warehouses become visible again and thanks to the close proximity to nothing and no one, there tends to be lots of graffiti and various abandoned/neglected structures.
And no, I didn't start using my digital until I ran out of film; that's why there are only images of the end of the hike.

1) As a child, I used to take photos using among others Vilia soviet camera and a 110-type cassette film camera. You wouldn't like to see the effects ;)

5) What I hate are Polish radio stations. I can't understand why they restrain so much to a couple of new and old songs, while there is an ocean of other. One exception is Leliwa, my local broadcaster - sometimes they find something interesting and forgotten. I also like German NDR2 with their slogan "einfach mehr Auswahl" - simply more choice.
6) Finding interesting and forgotten things is my primary nature. I avoid very popular things and try to look for something more "mine" - it could be food, clothes, songs, mobile phones or whatever.
7) What I'm very afraid of are various addictions, including strategy games and tv series. I didn't avoid two - Simutrans game and House MD tv series.
8) I never eat fish, almost never.
9) I learnt French for 3 semesters.
10) I voted on Donald Tusk during the latest presidential election.

Removedor Franbella – É um removedor de esmaltes hipoalergênico que não contém acetona, feito com óleo de semente de uva.
Bom, ele não é minha primeira opção, eu gosto de usar o da Ideal, também com cheirinho de uva haha, mas como está muuito difícil achar qualquer removedor sem acetona aqui onde eu moro e eu só achei esse, é esse que vai haha Ele remove direitinho, mas não tão bem quanto o Ideal. Mas o importante é não ter acetona, que resseca até não poder mais as cutículas.
Risque amolecedor de cutículas – Um creme com óleo de orquídea com o cheirinho beem gostoso e que não é forte.
Depois de retirar o esmalte eu passo nas cutículas esse creme para amolecer e preparar para esmaltar.

Vocês devem estar se perguntando ‘ por que a maluca colocou uma escova de dentes ai?’ HAHAHAHA Entãão, para tirar o amolecedor e as peles mortas que ficam em nossas cutículas, eu uso o sabonete líquido e a escova de dente. É basicamente escovar as unhas hahaha Tirando todo o creme para não atrapalhar na hora de esmaltar \o
Lixas :
Lixa Marco Boni – lixa de 4 passos.
Ela tem esses 4 passos e prometem deixar a unha brilhando, como se tivesse passado base. Ta, ela deixa a unha bem lisinha e brilhante mas nem é pra tanto haha Os 4 passos são:
1. Lixar
2. Remover Saliências
3. Polir
4. Dar Brilho.
Eu usei uma vez mas da muita preguiça de ficar nessa lengalenga toda vez que vai pintar as unhas –‘
Lixa Banana – Lixa pra unha postiça, mas eu acho ela linda e uso só por isso hahaha Mas quando vou finalizar eu uso aquela normal mesmo, porque essa banana lixa até a alma haha
Cremes:
Avon Mira-cuticle – Creme redutor de cutícula. Não posso afirmar que ele reduz as cutículas porque eu uso tudo junto e misturado dependendo do que está mais perto de minhas mãos hahahaha Mas ele hidrata bem e é fácil de aplicar e faz pouca sujeira.
Avon hidratante para mãos de guaraná com mel – Creme para as mãos simplesmente haha Bom pra usar na rua, e com um cheirinho ótimo.
Amolecedor Passe Nati – Um creme a base de óleo de cravo da índia com um cheiro horroroso que me da dor de cabeça só de pensar. Não gostei, não uso e não indico.
Bepantol Baby – Todas sabem que bepantol é vida, passo bepantol até no cabelo. Ele hidrata tudo nessa vida hahaha Até nas olheiras é bom passar e ele clareia a pele também. Enfim, mil e uma utilidades. Só que ele eu gosto de usar antes de dormir porque é uma melequeira só \o
E por ultimo esse vidrinho sem rótulo, que é uma mistura dos restos dos meus óleos secantes haha Uso sempre que olho pra ele HAHA Depois de descobrir que óleo secante não ajuda a secar esmalte só serve pra hidratar cutícula ele vive na minha bolsa e sempre que eu lembro dele eu passo.

Tough times call for tough measures! Due to the tanking economy, I decided to severely cut back on Christmas gifts this year. In order to soften the blow a bit, I made this gift tag and attached it to everyone's presents.
Santa was drawn in Photoshop on the graphic tablet, as well as the sketchy green oval. Everything was then imported into InDesign, where the text and the outer tag shape were added. Then I printed a bunch on card stock, cut them out with an X-Acto and punched a hole in the side.
