Yippee!!!!! got my "Inspiration for stamping" back. Had lots of fun creating new cards this morning. Totaly forgot the time......... and suddenly my housekeeper came. The living-room was turned into a "craft-room" and it was a bit difficult for her not to laugh!
She managed to clean around me and I enjoyed beeing creative while my home was beeing cleaned - How wonderful was that?

1. I'm an extroverted introvert.
2. I'm a badass skater, I've skated in international inline freestyle competitions and though I don't compete in ice skating, I'm just as proficient on the ice.

Demorei para fazer essa tag porque no final do ano passado tive um problema com o HD do meu note e acabei perdendo tudo. Fiquei bem triste com isso, perdi fotos da minha formatura, de passeios legais que tinha feito, entre outros arquivos muito importantes.
Como não tinha nenhuma foto antiga, acabei fotografando alguns vidrinhos e acredito que esses sejam os mais antiguinhos que tenho.
Eu sempre gostei de esmaltes. Lembro que no começo da minha adolescência eu tinha alguns esmaltes bem bonitos; um deles era um glitter azul lindo que a Avon tinha (nessa época tinha esferinhas de inox dentro do vidrinho e eu ficava rodando o vidro pra ver elas ‘correndo’). Também tinha uns Impala fluorescentes, rosa, laranja, amarelo e azul; esse azul era muito bonito também. Nessa época eu tinha o mau hábito de roer as unhas, tentava usar esmaltes para parar com essa mania; mas só fui parar mesmo de roer quando comecei a usar aparelho fixo, sabe-se lá pq eu não conseguia mais roer. Nunca liguei muito pra essa coisa de usar base, extra brilho, nada disso; passava o esmalte direto na unha. O tempo foi passando, e vez ou outra eu usava uma corzinha nas unhas; usava cores mais claras, como o Luna, esse aí da foto é o meu 2º vidrinho dele.
Meu vício mesmo começou em 2009, com meus 22 quase 23 anos. Tinha descoberto o extinto blog Mão Feita e desde então sempre estava lembro sobre os esmaltes. Comecei mesmo quando surgiu a coleção da Colorama em que foi lançado o Noite Quente e o Puro Glamour (esse da foto é dessa época). Fiquei louca pelo NQ!! Não via a hora de tê-lo. Nessa época eu morava numa cidade aqui do interior de MG, pra onde me mudei pra fazer meu curso na universidade, e bom, se aqui na capital as novidades já demoram, lá então... Até que um dia entro na perfumaria e vi o NQ lá, lindo me esperando. Na hora em que vi, já tirei da prateleira e agarrei pensando ‘agora vc é meu’ kkkkkk Enquanto ia pagar no caixa, uma moça virou pra mim, apontando pro NQ e falou ‘vc tem coragem de usar uma cor dessas?’; olhei bem pra ela e falei ‘tenho sim, pq não?’ e ela ficou me olhando achando q eu era louca! Usei o NQ e minhas colegas ficaram doidas por ele, elogiaram bastante, fez sucesso!
Sempre fui muito controlada no vício, compro as cores que acho que realmente irei usar. Às vezes tenho alguns momentos de loucura, saio comprando um monte, mas faço o possível para usar todos. No momento tô com uma fila bem grande de cores para serem usadas e fico bem chateada por ver meus vidrinhos parado na caixa. Hoje tenho 128, contando com bases e top coats. Mantenho-os dentro de 2 caixinhas guardadas dentro do meu guarda-roupa pra ninguém ver o tanto de esmaltes que tenho e ninguém da minha família achar que sou uma louca kkkk Para facilitar a organização, mantenho uma planilha no Excel com todas as cores listadas.

So I got tagged by Fredoichi a few days ago and have been thinking about taking a photo ever since. If I wasn't so lazy I might have set up a proper shoot but instead you'll have to settle for a webcam capture that has been heavily edited. This is probably a better self-portrait than some fake or staged shoot (and yet every part of this photo was carefully composed to include a lot of what makes me me, so go figure).
On with the facts then...
1. I emigrated to Perth, Australia from Johannesburg in 1988. I correct people if they mistake me for being South African. I was born in Rhodesia, a place that no longer exists, left a country where the colour of your skin dictated your opportunities and now call the most isolated city on the planet home. I am proud to be an Australian citizen.
2. I am a big kid. I love bad jokes, animated features, violent cartoons, complicated toys and of course, anything and everything related to The LEGO Company.
3. I am an optimistic pessimist and a perfectionist. I have a low tolerance for stupidity, fools and the general public. My faith in humanity gets less with each year I grow old. People suck, I see selfish idiots everywhere. I worry that I will become a belligerent and grumpy old man.
4. My star sign is Pisces. I often stand with legs crossed at the ankles, forming the taper of a fish tail, something apparently many Pisceans do. I once read that the zodiac symbol of two fish swimming in opposite directions is representative of conflicting thoughts and emotions typical of this water sign - I find this to be true.
5. At just 34 years of age, I have had a tumultuous career in Design and have been retrenched from most of my jobs, either through work drying up or management failing. I now have so little faith or loyalty in any company I might work for, that I choose to freelance in design for print, web or 3D and put my bachelor's degree to good use. It's been tough, but it's getting better. I am not an automaton nor do I belong on an assembly line, I am a creative thinker.
6. My fear of the New World Order is borne from the hypocrisy I see in politicians, the government and religion. They are part of the problem - regrettably, they are probably also part of the solution. I couldn't find my tin-foil hat for this photo. I suspect a conspiracy is afoot.
7. My vanity was a reason for editing this picture to make my pale skin looks less anemic than it really is. When I was younger I hated my freckles.
8. I have an astigmatism in both eyes which is why I wear glasses to correct my vision. It is worse in the left eye. I wear my specs if I am driving at night or looking at screens - I tend do a lot of the latter.
9. I am a private person who doesn't reveal a lot about my true self until I know you better. That's why you get half my face and half my mask. And more of that Piscean dichotomy.
10. I hate to see the English language bastardised but my corrections tend be taken as pedantic vitriol from a grammar nazi and make me sound like a jerk, so I try to put up with it. Mostly.

1 - Sur la photo c'est moi avec mon papa :D On était en bretagne chez mes grands-parents, et je devais avoir deux ans maximum (ça a l'air d'être l'été donc je dirais même 1 an et demie) Même si je ne la vois plus souvent, la famille c'est vraiment LE truc le plus important pour moi!
2 - Depuis que je suis devenue accroc à internet, je suis devenue incapable d'écrire sans mettre des smiley partout… C'est vraiment handicapant, surtout quand je dois écrire un mail à mes grands-parents ou pour un truc administratif…. je les considère comme de la ponctuation, je militerais bien pour faire rentrer ça officiellement dans la grammaire française XD
3 - Je suis accroc aux séries. J'adore le fait de m'accrocher à des personnages pendant si longtemps! Le problème c'est que quand elles se terminent, je suis complètement déprimée (sans exagérer) pendant parfois plusieurs semaines… En général, j'essaye inconsciemment d'éviter de regarder les dernières saisons (pour Scrubs, j'ai revu l'intégralité de la série au moins 4 fois avant de me décider à regarder la saison 8!!) Et je n'ai toujours pas vu la dernière saison de Friends non plus ^^"
4 - J'ai des centaines d'idées de projets, de créations, de dessins… mais aucun de vraiment abouti (ni commencé pour la plupart!!!) Durant certaines périodes j'ai tellement d'idées et d'envie à la seconde que je n'en dors pas…
5 - Dans le même ordre d'idée, j'ai un vrai problème pour CHOISIR quelque chose, et m'y tenir! Pour l'exemple, je rêve d'une maison de poupée depuis des années… J'ai un tas d'idées pour ça, mais je n'arrive pas à choisir. Du coup, je n'en ai toujours pas commencé u__u"
6 - Je n'ai pas vraiment de style vestimentaire, malgré les 15 tonnes de fringues entassées dans ma chambre… ça me complexe vachement. Il y a plein de choses que j'adore mais qui ne me vont pas, ou bien que j'ai adoré au moment de les acheter mais que je ne supporte plus au bout de 2 jours. J'aime les trucs un peu extravagants mais globalement, je n'arrive pas à oser les porter.
7 - J'adoooore le chocolat, et en particulier les GLACES au chocolat… En général sauf autre coup de coeur, quand je vais au restaurant c'est ce que je prends en dessert <3
8 -Je n'ai jamais "vu" quelqu'un de proche mourir, et je ne suis jamais allée à un seul enterrement (et je touche du bois) Ma plus grosse peur, c'est de ne pas être capable de gérer ça quand j'y serai confrontée, surtout dans ma famille...
9 - On m'a découvert un problème de scoliose quand j'étais en 3ème, et j'ai du porter un corset jusqu'à la terminale (ça n'a pas aidé pour le coup du style vestimentaire : j'étais obligée de porter des trucs amples, j'étais fringuée comme un mec)
10 - Quand j'aime une chanson ou un groupe, en général je n'écoute plus que ça (ou presque) pendant un temps variable; résultat, je pense que je connais par coeur l'intégralité de la discographie des Cowboys Fringants <3
11 - Quand j'étais petite (durant la primaire), j'avais persuadé une copine qu'on allait rétrécir un jour! Du coup, on collectionnait les Polly Pocket et on aménageait des maquettes pour avoir de quoi survivre le moment venu xD Je me rappelle d'un garde-manger contenant de la vraie nourriture réalisé dans une boîte jaune en plastique de Kinder Surprise!
12 - D'ailleurs, je regrette énormément ce côté de mon enfance qui me permettait de croire à tout ce que j'imaginais! Parfois je passait des heures à m'inventer des histoires où à continuer dans ma tête les films qui m'avaient plu avant de m'endormir, c'était génial…Aujourd'hui, j'essaye de refaire ça une fois au lit, mais en général il me faut 30 secondes chrono pour sombrer (au moins je dors bien, c'est déjà ça :P)
13 - Je rêve de partir travailler à l'étranger, mais mon copain n'est pas super chaud pour ça… J'aime l'idée de bouger, ça me fait rêver, mais lui c'est pas vraiment son truc, bouh Il va falloir trouver un compromis :P
14 - Je suis super timide, et traumatisée du collège où les gens se moquaient de moi. Du coup, je n'ose pas parler aux gens (du genre dire bonjour quand je ne connais pas) et je passe pour une fille super froide qui colle des vents à tour de bras (mes amis m'appellent la reine des glaces XD) Et quand je croise un groupe de jeunes dans la rue, je retiens ma respiration (au secours xD) En vrai pourtant, j'adore parler^^
15 - J'ai un vrai problème concernant la notion de douleur. Alors je sais, personne n'aime souffrir :D Mais je suis vraiment hyper douillette : peur des vaccins, un rendez-vous pour une prise de sang va m'empêcher de dormir pendant 3 jours, l'idée d'aller chez le dentiste me fait pleurer. Je voulais un tatouage et un second trou aux oreilles mais impossible à cause de ça, bouh. Ma plus grosse trouille de ce côté là : avoir des gamins :D
16 - J'adooore les trucs kawaii, mignons, roses (dans une moindre mesure attention XD), mais à côté de ça je suis une grosse fan de Metallica, System of a Down, Rammstein et Dropkick Murphy's!
17 - Je suis allée un mois à Tokyo toute seule durant l'été 2009 : probablement un de mes plus beaux souvenirs de voyage!! *__* Je rêve d'y retourner mais même si j'ai potentiellement les sous, je me dis qu'à mon âge (hem) il serait peut-être temps de mettre de côté, plutôt (snif)
18 - Je suis fan d'un certain nombre de choses dont j'ai (presque) honte : SingStar, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives (ouais, je sais…)
19 - J'ai dépassé de presque 2 ans l'âge auquel mes parents m'ont eue, je me sens vieille (et j'ai ma première vraie ride!!)
20 - Quand je poste un message sur un forum, je tape trop vite sans faire attention, et je suis quasiment toujours obligée d'éditer pour corriger mes fautes!! (D'ailleurs là je vais me relire, mais je sens que j'en ai laissé passer :P)

After my initial Tagging by Heather I was tagged by Pax, Raphy, Sharpspeed, Legohound and bermyskier1235 so I figured why not do another tag shot. Truth be told the first one was a ghetto self portrait and spent all of about a minute coming up with (not so) interesting facts.
Here we go again.
1. As evident in this shot I love shoes. I'll snatch up just about any limited edition Adidas I can find and have an irrational obsession with Clarks Wallaby's. I don't just love sneaks either I spent almost $900 on shoes for my ex girlfriend in the 3 years we were together. (thats right Heather $900 on shoes for her)
2. I love theatre. In highschool I was the lead in 3 plays and performed numerous monologs both new and classic, Shakespeare being my fave. I also wrote and directed two 1 act plays, numerous short scenes and even a few select scenes from Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. (Love Shakespeare) Recently I got to be in a production of Mozarts The Magic Flute as a super numerary (basically an extra) and got to die on stage as well as getting to know one of the principles (a beautiful and talented singer) rather well. It was the experience of a lifetime.
3. When I was really young I was in a bubble. Not exactly a bubble boy, I was only in it for a few days when I contracted Croup as a small child but I was still in a bubble.
4.I graduated High School in 2001 and have never taken any post secondary education since. If I ever figure out what it is I want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on to learn then I might give it a shot.
5. I've read well over 20000 comics and own at least 8000 myself. I love both Superhero stuff and indie titles. A few of my faves are Transmetropolitan from Vertigo, Street Angel from Slave Labour Graphics, most Punisher comics from Marvel, Teenagers from Mars from Gigantic Publishing and Batman from DC.
6. I'm an epic procrastinator. I've needed to sort for almost a year now, I have a pile of clean laundry thats needed to be folded for 2 weeks and I've had this pic ready to upload for 3 days.
7. I'm a smoker and have been for over half my life. I'm fully aware its bad for me and want to quit but its tougher than you think. (I'm procrastinating)
8. I love Skateboarding and have been doing it since I was 12 years old. I broke my ankle twice doing it and for a brief period had a shop sponsorship. I feel way too old to do tricks or anything anymore but from time to time I'll hit the park to carve some tranny and do speed lines. I'm currently rocking a Black Label Christian Hosoi throwback with Krypto wheels. It goes like stink.
9. I suck at photography but am trying to improve (procrastinating). I use the auto fix button in picnik on most of my Lego pics and it works awesome.
10. I love all kinds of music although I tend to steer clear of most mainstream and pop stuff. If I had to pick a fave artist I'd have to pick 8. Paul Simon, Wu Tang, Gangstarr, Queen, Blackalicious, The Misfits, Neil Diamond and Nirvana.

9. this is a looooong and convoluted story. basically, i went to a concert about a decade ago that gina garan's husband played in nyc. my sister brought me to the concert b/c she really likes the music of another guy that was playing that night. there were blythes at the show. this was like 2000. i didn't know a thing about blythe, i had just graduated college at the time and had no money, but, i thought she was a cute doll. and, i always remembered that it was "asa somer's wife" who was the doll lady. YEARS, and i mean years later, i was in a japanese bookstore in NYC and saw some of gina's books on display. i was like "OH, it's those dolls again." i picked up the books, looked through, and got hooked. then i went on ebay looking for blythes and all the ones i liked at the time (milk, yuki) were so pricey. i found pullips on ebay the same day and bought some of those instead... cause they were cheaper. it took another couple of years for me to realize that i really did prefer blythe and since then, the # of pullips in my collection has decreased and the # of blythes in my collection has increased.... a LOT

I've been tagged by 3_little_birds, so I'm posting a rare photo of myself to my stream. I'm struggling to come up with 10 interesting things about myself, so if there's nothing listed here when you visit, uh... come back later and hopefully it'll be fully filled out.
1) I'm Chinese, but Canadian born - which means unlike the rest of my kin, I suck at math. And I can actually write a grammatically correct sentence when necessary (but if you take a quick read of my blog, you'd probably disagree).
2) I grew up poor, and always pitied myself when Christmas came every year without any cool presents. This is my excuse for being so piss poor at saving money - I'm making up for all those deprived years. Plus, I'm supporting our fragile economic recovery. :)
3) I tend to be an introvert, and so it can be hard to get to know me as a friend. But if you dig a little deeper, I have a lot more to offer than you'd think from looking at me.
4) Adventure is my favourite word - I like to think of everything in life as an adventure, and am willing to try just about anything at least once.
5) Narrow minded folks who can't look at both sides of any given topic annoy the shizzat out of me.
6) I don't like pizza. When I tell people this, they tend to give me a look like I just said I eat children for breakfast. I just had an overabundance of pizza during my youth. Too much of a good thing...
7) Vanilla is my favourite ice cream flavour. Even if I had a choice of 100 different flavours spread out before me, vanilla would still be one of my top picks.
8) I have man-crushes on Gael Garcia Bernal and Ryan Gosling. These dudes are just the most incredible young actors. I've seen 'Y Tu Mama Tambien' and 'Half Nelson' close to a combined dozen times.
9) I love scrambling mountains - the higher the mountain, the steeper the drop offs, and the more dangerous/ difficult the route, the more I want to do it...
10) ... but yet, spiders literally scare the shit out of me. I can traipse along an exposed cliff face without fear, but the sight of a tiny spider makes me want to whimper like a little girl. It's quite pathetic, actually.

7. I could read and spell very well by the age of 4, but my brain works faster than my hands, and I often write/mis-spell words getting ahead of myself by skipping to later letters- I need to pace myself!!
8. I have a scar on my left shoulder where I had a 'dodgy' lump removed. It healed badly and the scar is bigger than the original lump! The lump? Well, results said it was only pretending to be dodgy! (but better safe than sorry).
9. I have a photographic memory.
10. I would love to have a tattoo of 3 stars in rainbow colours- one for each of my children... but... see no3!!
11. I yearn for a minimalist pastel coloured house, but in reality, love 'stuff' and bright colours too much.
12. According to my daughter, when I smile, I have more wrinkles than my 65yr old Mum!
13. I was 18yrs and 5 weeks old when I had my first child, and it took me 3 days to deliver her.
14. I have Benign Essential Tremors- mostly in my left hand, a little in my right, and just a tiny 'nod' in my head occasionally. Caffiene, stress and medication can make it worse.
15. My favourite foods are: candy floss, cabbage, salmon and fudge, but not all on the same plate! I love to drink lager, cranberry juice or coke- but that last one is banned- I'm properly addicted and used to consume 2 litres+ a day, every day!!! o_0
16. At 12wks pregnant with my 3rd baby, I was so bumpy, the docs thought he was going to be twins- as it runs in both my Mum and Dads family, and I was next in line!! 0_o Twin Spencers would have been cute, but I'm pleased it was just him! lol.
Oh, and after they thought my tummy would stay 4-5 months pg looking forever, but I proved them wrong again! :D
Well, that was a while ago, when I was tagged. But here are the ten facts about me :) :
1. The sunbeams when the sun is low in the sky and cycling with nice weather make me feel happy
2. I'm much more a dreamer and thinker than a do-er
3. I love to draw next to photography.
4. I also love it to listen to music. Especialy Coldplay, but I like other artists too.
5. I really like it to watch documentries about peoples lives in foreign countries. Actually, documentries in particulair are interesting to watch.
6. I think a lot, well ofcourse, everybody does. But I think a lot about life, about the decisions I have to make, how the world works, what things make me happy and why people do specifik things and not just in a different way, etc.
7. I love my life an love it lo be alive. I learned to look at and take advanche of things which make me happy, instead of only looking at what goes wrong. I learned that it doesn't really matter who I am, that I can be who ever I want to be. I used to be insecure, but now I'm proud of myself that I stepped over that feeling.
8. I'm never bored. I have to many hobbies, I guess :P
