This little wooden carving was one of two my sister brought me back from Cuba. The other one is a Cuban man. I never noticed until today that there are seeds and berries on top of her hat.

Out for a walk (5.6km) today out above High Bradfield in Sheffield. Walked from the Old Horns Inn car park, past St Nicolas church and then below and around Agden Rocks via Rocher Top and back to the Old Horns Inn for much needed drinks! :)
Yes... I did it! I took some time to prep and follow through with some self portrait taking. I am trying to get better with my use of light and angles. I believe that I learned a few things and more importantly... had a fun time doing it. Unfortunately I had to neglect my daughter a bit to do this... but I'll make up for it the rest of the week.
Your suggestions and comments are much appreciated. I would love to take a photography class... but there are so many reasons why I just can't. Perhaps one day.
