At the top of mount Snowdon, a slightly misty day. There were rather a lot of insects flying here, seen in the picture, a few steps lower down there were none.
never used so much money on a top before. gotta admit it looks pretty awesome though.

The guy who demonstrated this thing said that the top can spin for 2 hours at a stretch. Even after the top has stopped spinning it will still stand straight, perfectly balanced on the stand. Amazing engineering what people from hundred of years ago can come out with.
