Bernkastel was about 25 miles from Traben Trarbach along the Mosel River. But it was only 3 or 4 miles walking oveer the mountain. We had frequent hikes to Bernkastel with many friends. We would often pack a picnic. We usually took a boat ride back home later in the day.

What is a blueback trout? Join Windows to the Wild host Willem Lange as he searches for the elusive fish, which makes its home near the North Country's Red River Camps. This 22,000-acre parcel of true wilderness, owned by the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands, is located outside of Portage in northern Maine. It is the perfect place to find the blueback trout, which is native to northwestern Maine in the headwaters of the St. John and Penobscot rivers.
To get this I shot water out of a bulb blower into a red bowl of water. It took 60 exposures to get a good one.
I used a Nikon D200 with Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 extended to 75mm. Exposure: f/16 @ 1/250 @ ISO400. SB-800 flash directly overhead pointing straight down at 1/32 power.
About the image.
Went to Osaka for a day trip, knee pain getting worst so I only had energy to go around 2 place.
Osaka Castle and Dotonburi.
There was a cheerleading sort of event happening over the Osaka Castle grounds and spent a bit of time watching them.
They are a joy to watch and even though I don't understand what they are saying their smile is infectious.

The first Poker Run to benefit Born to Read was a sensational success! It was a beautiful day and those who rode enjoyed the route and were happy to contribute to a good cause.
oddly enough, we first went to incheon international airport. we then took a local bus to a ferry and then another bus on muuido (muui island). it was a funny feeling going on a trip, and going to the airport, and yet, not really going to the airport.
Arrival Mission Midwestern University 17 Dental School Student to Peru Cusco. Student comments: "Our coordinator was helpful in guiding us and letting us know plans ahead of time. She was very helpful and organized in that way".
"My homestay experience was great! One cannot go into a mission trip thinking it will be a luxury hotel or home. I had a great bed to sleep in with multiple layers made of blankets with 2 pillows. The food that was cooked for us was wonderful & safe for us to eat".

To take this picture, I simply ran up to a seagull who was in the shoreline. When it saw me it started to take off, then I snapped the picture. The problem is that the quality is horrible.
