Broadway pedestrian sitting area, Times Square, New York City. Now the sitting area has been updated to have a new surface on the road, new chairs, tables, umbrellas, benches and potted planters. This picture is of the initial set up with just lawn chairs.
One of the Times Square McDonalds. Like the rest of Times Square, this place is covered with flashy neon signs
New York City's Time Square named after the Newspaper which once had a building there. Times square is the meeting place of people visiting New York City.
This photo represents how times change , the older generation did not have electric scooters, they had bicycles. The younger generation now has scooters. I guess i focused on the girl riding her scooter cause i am a member of the younger generation.
Times Square has achieved the status of an iconic world landmark and has become a symbol of its city. Times Square is principally defined by its animated, digital advertisements.
I remember taking this photo from inside of my hotel room. I love how Times Square looks at night!
This photo was taken with a Canon EOS Rebel XS and a 18-55mm lens.
The changing times are apparent below the cab window of this Santa Fe Warbonnet leading an eastbound intermodal train past the Metra station in Riverside, Illinois. The unit may wear Santa Fe colors and markings but the BNSF initials signal a new era. (Scanned from a slide)
Day 1 in NYC!
Times Square! Michele claimed she hated it, but I thought it was pretty sweet. :-) I guess we were there when it wasn't super packed (although there were tons of people around no matter where we went or when we went there).

The density of illuminated signs in Times Square now rivals that of Las Vegas. Officially, signs in Times Square are called "spectaculars", and the largest of them are called "jumbotrons."

San Giovanni Fuorcivitas was built outside the city walls (= Fuorcivitas) during Lombard times. In 1119 Bishop Hildebrand of Pistoia notes down, that the church is "nearly in ruins", so soon after the building process started for the church seen here. The works were finally completed in 1344 when the church got enlarged by two bays.
It may be, that Gruamonte was the first architect here. He may have created the green/white pattern of the wall, typical of other buildings in Pistoia and probably inspired by the buildings in Pisa.
