Shot using two Elinchrom studio lights and a set of x-mas lights in the background about 12 feet from the subject using a 105mm f2.8 lens.
They were having a great time on a southern California beach. The middle dog got the ball they were all trying to retrieve.

Working with Lotte in the studio on this project was once again a wonderful experience. It was our first collaboration in this context, and I think we’ll be working together more often in the future.
"short films – …and then we‘ll call it even"
In the silent arena of our minds, where thoughts dance like invisible actors, a profound equality among us all is revealed. These inner conflicts, which do not manifest themselves in the outside world, are the invisible threads that weave the fabric of human existence. They are the silent struggles that each of us, regardless of gender or external circumstances, wages in the depths of our souls. These inner struggles are not mere challenges, but essential components of human existence that initiate us into the mysteries of life.
Every person faces their own inner battles, which are unique in their intensity and significance. These psychological struggles cannot be compared, as they are an expression of each individual's journey through the depths of consciousness. They are the touchstones that shape us and lead us to explore the limits of our being. Overcoming these inner conflicts holds the possibility of growth, transformation, and enlightenment.
The pursuit of overcoming these inner struggles is a deeply personal and often solitary journey. It challenges us to look into the darkness within ourselves and find the glimmers of light that guide us. In this inner argument lies the chance to discover the essence of our being and strengthen the connection to our true self. Thus, these inner conflicts are not only tests, but also invitations to self-knowledge and spiritual development.

I kept this series practically closed as a self-portrait series for a very long time. I think it’s time to open it up and at the same time connect it to my overarching theme, the portraits.
As a rule, these are long exposure shots with exposure times varying between 2 and 30 seconds. In this case 6 seconds. They are series that deal with a range of human feelings and thoughts. They deal with desire, loss, regret and pain and the attempt to process all of this.

Three diverted liveried 66s head north on the 17:54 Toton to Belmont. EWS liveried with DB branding 66172 leads unbranded EWS liveried 66112 and DB livered 66149 past Slitting Mill crossing and the remains of the old crossing.
Ironically 66149 was my previous upload running on the Teesside to Boulby Potash circuit.

costo asciende a 3 millones.

Yesterday marked 12 months to the day since the first UK lockdown started in response to the Covid 19 pandemic.
The death toll currently stands at 126K
For me, one of the highlights of our walk last Sunday was finding these 13th century church ruins. I Loved the peaceful energy of the place.
The wooden sign reads:
'The place where thou standest
is holy ground.
It is also sacred to the dead
whose bodies rest here.
Try to speak and act
reverently in it.'

This is the remnants of an old pier that was used for access to the long gone John King boatyard in Emsworth Harbour. It is in a conservation area overlooking the now defunct oyster beds that Emsworth was once famous for.
In 1239 Henry III granted a charter for a weekly market and an annual fair in Emsworth. By 1341 the town was sufficiently established as a trading and fishing port, to be one of the five ports in Hampshire ordered to provide a ship for the fleet sent to protect the Channel Islands from French attack. Interesting historical background to the area.
What you don't see is the myriad of ducks and coots at my feet which were being fed by a kindly local resident, hence the LE!
I am immensely 😇 honored to share that one of my 📷 photographs have been published in 📰 The Times UK. It is beyond words to express what an incredible accolade it is to be recognized by this 237 year old prestigious news outlet, and have the opportunity to reach out to their almost 450,000 readership audience. 😊
The Times UK is often considered the “Newspaper of Record”, and being acknowledged by this well-respected platform certainly provides a new height of credibility to my work…
Overjoyed with this new milestone, I am even more thrilled to keep working hard and see what the future unfolds for me… I hope you stay with me on the ride… 🙏 🙏 🙏
Taken with my other Russian Monocle/Monolens (26mm), which is very different from the 50mm.
Love how it rendered this scene, but I only had a few seconds before people walked in and ruined it, so I didn't have time to get the exposure right and burnt out the light from the window.
Best to try and embrace the imperfections. :-)
Trondheim, Norway.
There are times in life when everything is just too much, too out of control. The best that you can hope for is to simply organize the chaos.
And believe that everything will work itself out just fine. Happy humpday people!
An old saying....Dope will get you through times of no money, better than money will get you through times of no dope. Judging by the empty bucket. I'd say this guy's got neither.
Abstract reflections and an electronic billboard outside the MMS store. I had to study and then wait for this red eye to cycle through all the adds to get it just right.
Photography was a corner stone of my daily life, and now with a number of life changes, it's only now an occasional activity.
Most fleeting images get taken on my phone and my camera gathers dust on the shelf!
Times change - and I do miss the walks, the editing and the sharing and interactions too.
Daisies remain a constant for me and are always a delight to behold.
Took the 'Hop-on Hop-off' bus while in Manhattan. Here's a shot taken in Times Square. Can you spot the Times Square Ball?
My dad is doing well after surgery. I travelled to Mexico City to stand by him.
I had the opportunity to reunite with my brother, my mother and of course, my dad, which I haven't seen in almost year and a half.
To hug them after that long time and to see that my father can be cured, makes me feel happy.
