Somehow, I just wasn't content with sitting where I was supposed to sit and take pics. I usually prefer to be on top, but I go both ways, depending on my mood.

The Volkswagen Transporter series, also referred to as the Volkswagen Group T platform series, refers to several generations of motor vehicles from Volkswagen Group, starting with the original Volkswagen Type 2.
These vehicles are traditionally in the light commercial vehicle sector; and comprise vans, minivans, minibuses, pick-ups, campervans, and other derived vehicles, spanning over 60 years of production from 1950. Throughout their generations, they have generally been available worldwide. Its traditional competitors are the Toyota Hiace and Mercedes-Benz Vito.
Though the T1 to T3 generations were named unofficially and retrospectively, the T series is now considered an official Volkswagen Group automotive platform.

Porsche 356
The Porsche 356 was the company's first production automobile. It was a lightweight and nimble handling rear-engine rear-wheel-drive 2 door sports car available in hardtop coupe and open configurations. Design innovations continued during the years of manufacture, contributing to its motorsports success and popularity. Production started in 1948 at Gmünd, Austria where approximately 50 cars were built. In 1950 the factory relocated to Zuffenhausen, Germany and general production of the 356 continued until April 1965, well after the replacement model 911 made its autumn 1963 debut. It is estimated approximately half of the total production of 76,000 356s still survive.

Porsche 356

Servicemen returning from the European Theater after WWII had become infatuated with the sports car. One of the most popular and recognizable was the MG T-series. In 1949, the MG TC gave way to the MG TD; in 1953, the MG TD gave way to the MG TF. The TF was at the time a rather unsuccessful attempt to stall the impatient car enthusiasts who had started to get tired of the long series of the T-type and were crying for something new. Hence, the TF became a short production series before the MGA was released. It was basically a cosmetic modification of the TD but had a more modern look, with a more inclined radiator and built-in head lamps. In hindsight, the TF turned out to be perhaps the most beautiful of all the MG models, and the low production number (a total of 6200 of the 1250cc model and 3400 of the 1500cc model engines being made) now makes it very attractive for collectors. TF was available in these color options: black with red, green, or biscuit upholstery; red with red or biscuit upholstery; green with green or biscuit upholstery, and ivory with red or green upholstery.
This vehicle is on permanent loan to the museum.

I was walking back to my car in bare feet, the ground was moist and felt good, carrying my heels purse and tripod as I was done with pics at Evangola State Park for today. I just kept passing picnic table after picnic table and I thought Hey, this could be the country version of Micheles countertop pics. I set up the tripod , said Hee Haw, and jumped up on the table.I have already posted a T.T.P. pic from Chestnut Ridge Park and I have a third pic to post from last saturdays TG meeting, but that one is at night and has a little different flavor to it, [ Cause it's at night.]
Had a spare hour so I called in at Stonehenge to take a break in the sunshine. A few coaches came past including a CIE Tours Van Hool T-series; a new Highway Temsa in yet another different colour fleetname; an Excelsior Evotor on cruise work; a new Anderson Travel Futura and a Van Hool in a hurry.
To promote the arrival of the new Goggomobil in the Netherlands importer Gremi organized a parade of new T-series models. Here they were lined-up in front of their Oude Ebbingestraat subsidiary. This action made national news.
In 'De geschiedenis van Gremi' this action is dated in 1958, but I doubt that. It has to be 1955 or 1956. Shown T-series models are pre-1957.
The Goggomobil microcar was presented in Autumn 1954 by Hans Glas GmbH, Dingolfing, Bayern. Chief engineer was Karl Dompert.
The Goggomobil T250/T300 series was expanded with the T400 in October 1957.
A second front wiper came late 1956 for model year 1957.
In September 1957 the models received crank windows instead of sliding windows.
From March 1964 onwards the door hinges of all models were replaced to the front side of the doors (conventional way).
In 1966 the Glas company was bought by BMW, but the production of these microcars remained till 1969.

Kyocera T from 1986. Features include a Carl Zeiss Tessar f/ 3.5 35mm T* lens. Also known as the Yashica T2 outside of Japan. This is the first branded Kyocera 35mm compact camera in the famous T* Series.
Three of Canon's T series cameras from the 1980's. The T50 - the entry level fully automated FD SLR, the T70 a more advanced version with more features, and the T80, Canon's first autofocus SLR (only 3 lenses were ever made for this camera in 1984 & 1985 - it did also take regular FD manual focus lenses as well).
All three cameras have 35-70mm 'all purpose' lenses attached in this shot. The T80 is autofocus, and the T50 & T70 have regular FD (cheaper plastic but decent image quality) lenses.
Missing from this series are the T60 and T90 cameras - the T60 was Canon's very last FD mount camera in 1990 (and not even manufactured by Canon, but Cosina) and the T90, which was a professional camera considered to be one of the best FD camera's made.
With its upright grille, slab fuel tank and exposed spare wheel, the MG looks every inch the classic British sports car. Indeed, during World War Two, American GIs had grown to love the T-Series MGs. Many were exported and, with that in mind, the TD was the first MG ever to be built in left-hand drive.
The TD still used the 1250cc engine, which had been in production since 1939, but it was the first MG sports car to have independent suspension and rack-and-pinion steering. At the back was another first, a hypoid-bevel rear axle. All of this meant a smoother ride and better handling.
The MG TD Mark II in 1950 was essentially a factory-tuned model, which had a more powerful 60bhp engine, up from 54bhp and different gear ratios. Otherwise there were only subtle changes over the years.
This 1954 1250cc MG TD, 5399 DG, is on display at the Cotswold Motoring Museum.

Going up the steep hill leading sw out of Aarhus past Viby and Stautrup. Underpowered and/or heavily loaded trucks often struggle here.
Tip: to locate trucks of particular interest to you, check my collections page, "truck collection" (www.flickr.com/photos/lavulv/collections/72157684190396672/ ) - here you will find all trucks organized in albums, by haulier (with zip-codes), year, brand and country.
Retirement age for trucks: many used trucks are offered for sale on international markets. If sold to a foreign buyer, this will not be listed in the danish motor registry, so a "retired" truck may or may not have been exported. In other words, the "retirement age" only shows the age, at which the truck stopped running on danish license plates.
