Coming to Japan, it was a little difficult for me to adjust to the metric
system because we use a different system. After awhile I was able to get
used to the system and found it hard to convert back to the the system we
use in the US.

As opposed to a dry sprinkler system? (Yes, I know this is a real term. But still!) Atop which, we're in Seattle... is there anything here that is NOT wet??
Really, I just liked the weatherworn label against the cracked paint of the wall, and the contrast in colors.
Pentax 6x7, Kodak Portra 160NC, 100mm f/4 macro at f/4. I didn't ever think I would get an actual animal this close with this lens. You have to basically be on top of your subject in order to get any size, plus I'm so slow at manual focusing. This dragonfly was dying, though, so I was able to take my time. It's foggy because this was the day I was tired of waiting for my lens to defog in the humidity.

I like the idea of a cooling fan on ice.. I don't know how that would effect the airflow, but I assure you the overall effectiveness of your cooling system will improve.

A visual art system
Working closely with interior design firm, Perkins + Will in Vancouver, we were tasked to come up with a visual art system for the office space, a gaming company’s latest HQ in Vancouver. The task was to create a space that championed their unique corporate culture featuring their themed parties and gatherings in a fun visual way.
The concept we came up with was to use the visual language of graphic novels to tell their story visually. Utilizing 3D pop outs in the design helped create a dynamic space that help punctuate certain visuals and give depth and dimension to the art. We came up with the visual art system, illustration artwork that covered everything from the entrance graphic, the four corners, and all the privacy film graphics for all the boardrooms.

Technical Seminar on Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage (OCCS) Systems.
The Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage (OCCS) technology is emerging as one of the potential technical solutions to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from shipping.
To support this development, IMO's Future Fuels and Technology (FFT) Project is organizing the Technical Seminar on Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage (OCCS) Systems (11-9-2025).
The event aims to enhance the understanding of the latest developments in OCCS technology, infrastructure readiness and relevant environmental, safety and human element perspectives.
This is part of broader work supporting the development of a regulatory framework for the use of onboard carbon capture and storage, as as outlined in the work plan approved by IMO's Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC 83).
