Soldiers from the Bowling Green-based 189th Multi-Role Bridge Company conduct training on the operation of the U.S. Army’s Tactical Float Ribbon Bridge System Oct. 28, 2010, at Fort A.P. Hill. The training wrapped up a two-week fielding process where approximately 20 Soldiers from the company learned how to deploy the Improved Ribbon Bridge which can be used to transport weapon systems, troops and supplies over water when permanent bridges are not available. I am not sure that NC9637 ever served with Pan American.
Displayed in the circular structure that was constructed by the Ford Motor Company especially for the California Pacific International Exposition during the thirties.
She has been around South America with different operators. TACA Nicaragua, Dominicana, Mexicana and others.
Her last passenger flights were in the US with Grand Canyon Airlines and Scenic Airlines.

This is a picture showing a part of my 2nd system setup, still missing the TA-F707 ESN integrated amplifier.
The picture was made summer 2008. The two components below are the MDP-740D ES class multi disc player capable to play as well the good old laserdiscs as the normal CDs or VideoCDs. A very impressive player.
Below you can see the SLV-825 S, Sonys high end VHS video recorder made escpecially to integrate it in ES systems. Both are very hard to find in mint condition and were very expensive units at the beginning of the 90s. Only a few were sold of them here in Germany.

Taken around 1990 with a Vivitar PS:20 using Ektachrome 100 slide film. Scanned on a Canon MP990 using auto scan (1200 dpi). No edits other than flipping. The scan software is silly. It does not have you place the emulsion side toward the glass. It also crashes a lot in manual mode.
