A shot of an Applieddata.net BitsyXB development system that we've been tinkering with. It comes armed with a XScale processor (no pun intended) and our particular system boots Linux -- in this case its running Debian unstable off a USB attached hard drive.

From wikipedia: SRI was first proposed in 1983 when a drought prevented farmers from flooding their paddy fields. De Laulanie noticed that the rice plants had increased growth. Further observation revealed that having seeds planted too close together decreases their growth. Further work developed the main practices of SRI, leading to its main theoretical ideas: -rice fields should be kept moist but not flooded -rice plants should be spaced widely apart -rice seedlings should be transplanted quickly when young. The men at work series are the men that I work with in a central heating and cooling plant in the midwest. They are a proud and smart bunch making their way in the blue collar world. This image was the beginning of the Men at Work series. I was walking thru the basement, and framed by the circle of the turbine steam condenser was Brian. Afterwords a rustic look gave the image almost a timelessness. (that is if you ignore the modern work light.. :) and the headphones..ok looking pretty modern after all!

Right after Warschauer Brücke, in Friedrichshain (Berlin) there is a huge “abandoned” industry section where gradually many pubs and sport areas settled down, a great place of amusement and touristic attraction because of the unusual scenario.
You can discover brilliant murales at every corner, gigantic artworks representing many ideas and emotions.
This one is an enormous murales I took in 5 shots and reassembled with photomerge tool on Photoshop.
I was very fascinate when I discovered it… It seem to me like a perfect representation of a System that succeeds in get us down, we are part of the system and the system is able to do everything to us.
That’s why I decided to call it like this.

Home based Aquaponics systems are almost always consist of a fish tank with media based grow beds as an integral part of the system.
Hmmmm, I wonder what this means. Maybe, whatever wacko cult you adhere to, these folks will adjust their beliefs to match yours so as to get your business. Maybe that's what a savvy entrepreneur has to do to succeed in places like this (Seattle) and Provincetown, Key West, Roswell NM, etc.

This is my field vest for longer hikes where I'll carry along a sandwich and something to drink. The little bottle on the left is my 'atomizer' filled with water to lend the 'early morning dew' to flowers that may need a little 'refreshing'. The little Giottos tripod beneath the atomizer works well for field macro work and the two section legs bring it up to a decent working height for a pocket size tripod. The three section hiking staff allows me to negotiate some pretty rough terrain out in the wilderness, and also does double duty serving as a wonderful and lightweight monopod.
