When you don't have an open runaround track you have to use another engine to move the consist so the engine to be used can get to the other end and in the clear, sometimes called a saw-by move. Once F10 1502 is clear of the switch Adirondack Scenic RR RS-18u 1835 will couple onto the north end of the passenger train at Utica Union Station.
This is the button array on the right handlebar of my 1966 Sears Gold Seal Vespa. This is one of only a very few scooters sold by Sears, but NOT called Allstate. Just Sears.
But I don't know how all of these buttons work. It won't start, but it could be because one of these buttons is in the wrong position. The top button is a 3-position rocker, the left button is an off-on switch, but no clue as to which is which. The bottom button in for on, and out for off, as is the one on the extreme right. Any clues will be appreciated. This is a zippy little bike with 4 speeds and 125 cc's, and I really need to be riding it.
I could just barely make out a switcher juggling the cars,he never came down this far....
The train horn caught my attention,so I flipped up the camera,not realizing he was so far down .the crossing gates never lowered ......

CP GP38AC's 3004 and 3000 switch the largest customer on the O Yard and the last on the Van Horne spur in Richmond BC. One can only speculate how long the O yard operation will last as carloads decreasing heavily in recent years and CP unwilling to invest and look for new business, then the writing is already on the wall for the O yard.

These keyboard switches are one of the unique parts of the Compukit UK101. In the early 1980s, they were available from RS Components and from a supplier called Devlin. They are taller than typical keyboard switches available today. I'd like to find a supplier where I can buy spares in small quantities today. The only markings on the switches are "MEI" and "WEAB". The body of the switch is 15.7mm square and 17.6mm tall. The stem is 9.3mm long and has 4.5mm of travel. The cruciform fitting for the keytop is 4.75mm wide and the arms of the cross are 1.2mm thick. There are two plastic locating pegs on the bottom of the switch, 2.3mm diameter. The pin connections are 1.2mm diameter, 5.4mm pitch.
UPDATE: I've now found a brochure from a manufacturer called "Mechanical Enterprises, Inc.", who made these switches.
