If Clessie Cummins took the liberty to swap out the stock L-head V-8 in his 1936 Cadillac Series 72 convertible with a Cummins Model A 331 cu. in. in-line 6 diesel engine back in 1938, then I should be able to swap out the background of my image for a more interesting skyline. Hmm, maybe I should have gone with mountains. This unique automobile was present on the property of the Gilmore Car Museum during the grand opening of the Cadillac/ Lasalle Museum on September 28, 2014.
Having just come into Harrow as an H18, ASE 6100 is the process of being prepped for a crosslink working onto the H19 whilst on stand at Harrow Bus Station
This is really muted. But I am thinking of using mostly natural colors and light greys with some splash of color. What do you think? Would you prefer a lot more color? or just more intense? or just more random splashes of color? it will be pieced, not appliqued.
Would you like a pillow? what size? or a wall hanging? maybe 24" square?
Does anyone know, is this an actual pattern? It reminds me of something, but I don't know if it's already something someone made up, or just a spin off another design. :)

Later into the day and I swapped by denim skater skirt for a full length skirt to go shopping in, as well as visiting a venue for mussels and a craft lager :-)
I always wear a bridal petticoat under this skirt as it looks so much better holding a good flare.

It was fun to collect items for this swap. :)
Remote vs in-person
Although I first started swapping clothing remotely, I now do it pretty regularly in person. I hold a clothing swap a few times a year. It’s so much fun!
From 2008-2011, I was an active member of Flickr’s Wardrobe Swap Shop. It has since become inactive, but I still have a few things from the group, including this green jacket.
Jacket, Dex (swap). Tank, Romwe. Jeans, M. Boots, Treasure and Bond. Bag, vintage.
Project 365 // Day 310
Today we decided to go to a local flea market/swap meet. We really weren't looking for anything in particular, we just wanted to look around and perhaps find a hidden treasure or two. The flea market was split into two, the "dealer" area, where you could buy new, cheap, china-made stuff, or the "yard sale" style area, where people come with their own personal stuff sell. We walked around the entire thing almost, and my wife found a few cool things along the way. I managed to find a few cool NES games, but nothing that special, until we came accross a seller getting rid of a bunch of TMNT toys. I picked up a bunch of cool figures that I didn't already have, and my wife also found some cool vintage toys she used to have. I chose the photo above because I really liked the arrangement of the hand-made bracelets, the colors and all the different styles.
