This is a plaque built into the deck of the USS Missouri. It reads "Over this spot on 2 September 1945 the instrument of formal surrender of Japan to the allied powers was signed thus bringing o a close the second world war -- The ship at that time was at anchor in Tokyo Bay." I forgive the fact that there is absolutely no punctuation of which to speak.
A statue of the famous "V-J Day Kiss" photo. This statue is called "Unconditional Surrender", located off the Boulevard of the Arts in Sarasota, FL. The statue is 26' tall.
"The moment you surrender to love and allow it to lead you to exactly where your soul wants to go, you will have no difficulty."

Like Yorktown, the defeated army had to surrender their arms. Unlike Yorktown, the mood was more somber and incredulous than angry. Confederate soldiers piled their guns along the roads. Upon receipt of their paroles, they just went home.
All these men, after all these years, here, they just walked away. That was it.
Sweety is 9 years old. She was surrendered to JCAC because her owners were moving. She is spayed and microchipped, up to date on her vaccines including rabies. She is heartworm negative. She gets along well with the 3 dogs in the house, but likes to eat her food in peace and quiet, so she usually eats in her kennel (her kennel is big enough to fit a 60lb dog). She is still pretty fat, and still needs to loose weight, but it does not stop her. She loves to be outside in the yard, chase the birds and squirrels out of there. She feels it is her job to make sure there is nothing out there. She likes to play fetch, but doesn't like to give you the toy. She likes being chased for it. She doesn't like it when the big dogs step on her, and snaps at them for it. Never hurt them, just a warning, but for this matter, she probably shouldn't go into a home with very small kids. Other dogs would be fine, she likes them all. She also loves to snuggle and be held in a lap. She is housetrained, never had any accidents at all. She is also kennel trained, and sleeps in there at night or when nobody is at home. Sweety's adoption fee is $75.
