Went and checked out the band of some guys that I work with at Ridglea. It was a Halloween show and they told me they'd be various characters from the Mario Bros. games so I took a couple shots.
This is their keyboardist/guitars whose name I don't know.
Their music is somewhere in the realms of: System of a Down/Muse
If I happen upon and insect on it's
back with legs all kicky scrambly,
my first instinct is to right side up it.
Sometimes they can be saved,
othertimes despite my best efforts
they surrender.
The one above resisted all
efforts to rightside up.
When I held up my phone to take a picture,
he posed just as such - arms
outstretched as if to say
"I give up."
We had a conversation while
he was in the throes,
but nothing fit
for public consumption.
