When we kiss my heart's on fire
Burning with a strange desire
And I know, each time I kiss you
That your heart's on fire too
So, my darling, please surrender
All your love so warm and tender
Let me hold you in my arms, dear
While the moon shines bright above

"I surrender, I surrender,
I'm giving up the role of pretender." (Russ Ballard)
Roanyer Ria mask, blue lenses, lashes, G cups, sweet blue lace frock, and modest curves encased in a new pair of beige Rose Sakura sheer to waists. The latter feel just as wonderful as the black ones, but they are not quite as shiny. More photos, as always, here... www.deviantart.com/marilynbardot

The Star House
Home of Quannah Parker
Cache
Oklahoma
Quannah Parker was the last chief of the Comanche tribe. He surrendered in 1875. He had this house built in 1884 at Ft. Sill and had upside down stars painted on the roof. He fed and entertained many guests here including Geronimo and Theodore Rosevelt along with many Texas cattlemen. He died in 1911. In 1956 his daughter bought the house and had it moved to Eagle Park along with several other buildings and turned it into a tourist attraction. It became abandoned 25 years ago. The present owner won't sell it to the Comanche Nation or the state of Oklahoma. It will soon get past restoration. A couple from Oregon and I paid for a peculiar tour of this site and wasn't allowed inside due to rotting ceilings. It has the original table that Quannah Parker had his meetings. There are old photographs of his meetings at this table. I did get to see the table through a broken window.
I have had this vision for a while. And I knew Sean Graham (Pro Dancer/Choreographer) would be the perfect model for it.
The concept is Strength. The combined strength of a strong horse and a dancer surrendering to each other.
I really hope you guys like it! I will share with you that this is the toughest shoot I have completed so far. The model was two hours late, and he discovered after about 10-15 minutes that he is in fact allergic to horses. When I say he looked like Will Smith in Hitch (after 25 min. and we had close down the shoot) I am really not kidding!
The ball always wins.
This was taken this morning at the Bear Lake West golf course. Me and E went out early so that we could get back early enough to get to Raspberry Days.
Summers at Bear Lake...
We must in tears
Unwind a love knit up in many years.
In this last kiss I here surrender thee
Back to thyself, so thou again art free;
Thou in another, sad as that, resend
The truest heart that lover e'er did lend.

Our old garden seat surrendering to nature. I was playing around with ETTR and histograms to get the widest dynamic range possible. Man, there is a lot to learn about getting the shot you want.

Comparison.
A word we are all too familiar with, as artists and emotional, conceptual beings. We analyse. What can I do to be a better person? They, he, she is better than me. What's 'better'? and from who's perspective is one person a successor of life over another being. Over the past few months I've been profusely comparing, to the point I sit and wonder why I am so against my own life. I am against my own life because I'm comparing. It's a vicious yet contagious circle. Through the winter months and towards the end of 2015 I'd almost given up on my dreams. As many will have felt those awful feelings before, it's less of failure and more of a serial questioning. What do I need to do next to get to where I want to be. I want to be where my peers are, and how have they got there?
One day I was sat completing outstanding work for clients and I realised. Every time I'd get myself a drink or make myself food. I was walking in the same direction. That was up towards a room (my office) that I'd been sat in for days on end. Days when sometimes I wouldn't see daylight. No wonder I was comparing, I wanted a life that I wasn't even trying to live. I'm sure I've had these feelings before, back when my life was heading in the 'wrong' direction. There is no wrong direction though. There is only a direction in which we, as personal beings, can enable changes. And that's when I knew I had to.
I decided to surrender. Not my dreams but all my fears and comparisons. I don't trust myself when I'm in that state of mind, and therefore I give up on it.
