"I surrender, I surrender,

I'm giving up the role of pretender." (Russ Ballard)

Roanyer Ria mask, blue lenses, lashes, G cups, sweet blue lace frock, and modest curves encased in a new pair of beige Rose Sakura sheer to waists. The latter feel just as wonderful as the black ones, but they are not quite as shiny. More photos, as always, here... www.deviantart.com/marilynbardot

(White Caps). Jordan Azcune

Artist's statement: 'White Caps' depicts a formal parade of white flags. Grounded in rows with white ropes and simple poles, these 6ft-tall structures suggest an anthropomorphic crowd of waves, activated by wind rather than swell. It's D.I.Y. engineering and formal spacial alignment set next to the context of the ocean offer opportunities to test the inevitability of wind force and highlight the kinetic beauty of material. White Caps optimises its position in reference to the sea, while parodying the complex nature of symbols within maritime and surf culture.

Oh, my! I... wait a minute! Aren't you-

NO!

-that robot that Santa Claus demolished a few Christmases back? *

My superior technology can vaporize you where you stand. Hand over your love potions and aromatic oils while you still can.

And then you-

NO!

- were upbraided quite well by that native American fellow ** and-

No!

- then the soccer mom frightened you off? ***

You are incorrect! I am undefeatable. Now, before I unleash my power, give me all of your sudsy bubble baths and fragrant soapy cleansers.

And then you-

NO! NO!

-were shown the exit by the Pig Family Bakery?? **** So, how about this? I'm about to uncork an economy sized bottle of Knock-Your-Block-Off if you don't get out of here!

I... I'm leaving now.

I have had this vision for a while. And I knew Sean Graham (Pro Dancer/Choreographer) would be the perfect model for it.

The concept is Strength. The combined strength of a strong horse and a dancer surrendering to each other.

I really hope you guys like it! I will share with you that this is the toughest shoot I have completed so far. The model was two hours late, and he discovered after about 10-15 minutes that he is in fact allergic to horses. When I say he looked like Will Smith in Hitch (after 25 min. and we had close down the shoot) I am really not kidding!

The ball always wins.

This was taken this morning at the Bear Lake West golf course. Me and E went out early so that we could get back early enough to get to Raspberry Days.

Summers at Bear Lake...

We must in tears

Unwind a love knit up in many years.

In this last kiss I here surrender thee

Back to thyself, so thou again art free;

Thou in another, sad as that, resend

The truest heart that lover e'er did lend.

Why is it that we like to live love like a game? We play hide and run constantly, and although the players change roll every now and then, it looks like neither one is really up to letting him/herself caught. Do we have a natural instinct for hunting, which we only let run loose when it comes to love? Or is it just that we need to make it difficult to achieve, so that when we finally surrender, we have the sweet taste of a well earned price?

Comparison.

A word we are all too familiar with, as artists and emotional, conceptual beings. We analyse. What can I do to be a better person? They, he, she is better than me. What's 'better'? and from who's perspective is one person a successor of life over another being. Over the past few months I've been profusely comparing, to the point I sit and wonder why I am so against my own life. I am against my own life because I'm comparing. It's a vicious yet contagious circle. Through the winter months and towards the end of 2015 I'd almost given up on my dreams. As many will have felt those awful feelings before, it's less of failure and more of a serial questioning. What do I need to do next to get to where I want to be. I want to be where my peers are, and how have they got there?

One day I was sat completing outstanding work for clients and I realised. Every time I'd get myself a drink or make myself food. I was walking in the same direction. That was up towards a room (my office) that I'd been sat in for days on end. Days when sometimes I wouldn't see daylight. No wonder I was comparing, I wanted a life that I wasn't even trying to live. I'm sure I've had these feelings before, back when my life was heading in the 'wrong' direction. There is no wrong direction though. There is only a direction in which we, as personal beings, can enable changes. And that's when I knew I had to.

I decided to surrender. Not my dreams but all my fears and comparisons. I don't trust myself when I'm in that state of mind, and therefore I give up on it.
