I've just realised that the sculptures' back looks sweaty from the melting snow.

This year I've taken the advice of naturalists and let the dead cone flowers become winter food for the birds. Winter is half over and half the seeds are gone #FlickrFriday
Yep ... I know this is a Black-necked Stork, but when I photographed him 13 years ago, he was possibly still a Jabiru. His rival for the name lives in the Americas, from Mexico to Argentina. Seems they like to switch names in that corner of the world!
He used to visit a little mangrove creek close to my Townsville home.
The resin artist kids found this coaster which was from Dolly Day Barcelona back in June, they wanted to share it with you!

DO IT FOR YOU AND WHAT YOU THINK OF YOURSELF AS YOU GRAB YOUR DREAMS, NOT FOR WHAT OTHERS THINK OF IT BECAUSE THE TRUTH IS, MOST PEOPLE TRY TO DULL YOUR SHINE BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN PERSONAL REASONS AND TRY AND MAKE YOU LESS AWESOME.. Thanks for pillars of strength. They bring support and steadiness when things get hectic and shakey. They are all around us....we just need to look.

The construction sites around Dublin are coming down as fast as they were put up. This collection of new buildings on Charlemont Street are really shooting up. COVID-19, Level 3, June 2021.

Group photo of all the 2013 12'' singing princess dolls by the Disney Store. They have been fully deboxed, and are wearing the outfit that they were wearing in the box. They are posed standing side-by-side, supported by Kaiser doll stands. Not shown here is the 2013 Ariel, who is 16'' tall, and has the old sound switch in her hand, instead of the new one on the back of the doll's neck.

The singing princess dolls all now come with a second outfit and a sidekick figure. The other significant change is that all but Ariel are now 12'' dolls, with the sound switch in the back of their necks. There are a total of six Disney Princesses that are in the Singing Doll lineup this year, as the backs of the boxes of the 12'' dolls only show the five dolls that have been released so far. The songs remain the same, but for the 12'' dolls, the sound clip is now a single selection, and they sing less of the original song than before.
Here is a list of all the dolls (order of the release of their original movies):

First Coach Hire is now also short of drivers like the main bus operations. However, it is easier to hire in independent coach operators to cover school contracts and utilise the coaches on network services to plug gaps inn services caused by the driver shortage. Aberdeen will be keen to avoid the wrath of the Traffic Commisioner for its continuing inability to operate its is timetabled services particularly as First Glasgow has been called to a public inquiry.
Coaches have been used over the past week on the Bridges network. 20301 is seen here on King Street at the time of a Bridges short working that didn't appear nor did it appear on tracking so may well have been working that duty.
A few more additions to the collection from recent photos, more to come.

Most of my slides from the protest came out terrifically overblown, a consequence of trying to strike a balance between protesters silhouetted against a bright sky. Between color cast and exposure though, this is by far one of my favorite images.
