"Charles Fort is one of the finest surviving examples of a 17th Century star-shaped fort, and much of the construction begun in 1678 remains. The fort has two enormous bastions overlooking the estuary, and three facing inland. Within its walls were all the barracks and ancillary facilities to support the fort’s garrison. The fort continued in military use until 1922."

A man helps a Buddhist "nun" up from the ferry boat from Gaungse Kyun island, right off the tip of Mawlemyine, Myanmar.
There are around 20,000 Buddhist nuns (sila-rhan) in Myanmar. Girls and women enter the monastic life, shave their heads, take ordination vows and practice meditation and reading scriptures just as male monks do. They don’t perform ceremonies or travel overseas, and they carry only ten precepts--the same number for novice monks.
They also wear pink robes, which is unique to Myanmar.

The Dennis Dart is a rear-engined single-decker midibus chassis that was introduced by Dennis of Guildford, England, in 1989, replacing the Dennis Domino. Initially built as a high-floor design
In 1996, Dennis launched a low-floor version of the Dart known as the Dart SLF, with the letters SLF standing for Super Low Floor in reference to the new low-floor design. It was 2.4 m (7 ft 10 in) wide and initially offered in lengths of 10 m (33 ft) and 10.6 m (35 ft), with air suspension introduced in place of the taper leaf used in the original design. . It was also offered with a wide variety of bodies, namely the East Lancs Spryte, UVG Urbanstar (later renamed as the Caetano Compass)

This is a very unusual one, bodied by East Lancs Spryte as a Fire and Rescue Command Support vehicle, it was supplied new to Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Services and was based at Malvern Fire Station.

Last year I build a some small skypoint airbase vignettes (mainly for Steinewahn and Bricking Bavaria). For that I built some support cars but I was not able to take a picture so far… So here is the first support truck.
