Another take on last night's sunset across a prairie slough. No geese in this one but I did catch a muskrat passing through the reflection of the evening sky. Towner Co., ND.

Or anther version of this sunset, depends on how you look at it I guess... Tonight was a pretty good one too but I haven't had time to download the image files yet. Maybe tomorrow.
I still like the pure black background best.
Sunset Puddle. It's clouded over here and it appears sunsets will be few and far between, I take you back a few weeks for a puddle reflection over on the east side of Ridgefield near Saint Mary of Guadalupe's Church. Enjoy.
High Island, Texas
The features on the horizon are oil pumpjacks. The bird over the sun is a Common Nighthawk...they truly are common there. "High" is a relative term here in this low-lying part of the world but it's high enough that houses do not need to be on stilts to guard against storm surges.
We've had some good sunsets here in Kona recently. (To my eyes, this photo looks a lot better over a black background.)

A Sunset from my home town of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The view s to the west looking upstream on the North Saskatchewan River. The highest bridge used to handle the railway, but no longer.
